Something SHOULD be done!
 

I don't know about the rest of you, but i'm sick of paying to play a game where other people constantly run up and steal you kills and items... Something should definatly be done about this otherwise alot of people are going to constantly be P.O.ed.

That excludes the little jerks that seem to find it fun and amusing to steal from others.

What they are doing is VERY wrong, and if something isn't done about it then the game just isn't worth playing.

Or maybe we should all just steal from each other that way the entire community is unhappy with the game and over half of us quit paying for it. :grrr:

The last person who stole from me was Lee Alliryme (account name Lee_alliryme).

People like this should not be allowed on an RP game since they obviously have no sense of role playing or kindness for other players.

Note: Please post your thoughts on this, maybe if enough of us agree on this then something will be done, such as the following.

Idea: Add tags to the creatures so whoever hits them first is the only person that can kill them unless they don't hit them for a certain amount of time. And if your in a party make it tag the whole party so only party members can kill the creature.

That's not the problem. The problem is that this entire game is based on "level up as high as you can, pray for 500 hours so you can have an awesome weapon and kill everyone". No one wants to devote that much time just so they can enjoy a fun level that the strongest players have. Sure, we need to have strong players, but also you need to have other goals in the game too.

What about mercantile trading? Can't you get strong, or let's say, extremely wealthy by being a good merchant? What about a blacksmith? Shouldn't he be able to make super strong things and very effective tools if he excels at it? How about farmers and miners, can't they get some sort of incentive for doing what they do best? No

This whole game is based around "let's kill each other and level up to the max so we can kill everyone" and new players won't start accepting this ideology.

Let's see you go on a game like everquest and say that, you steal just 1 kill on there and your gone for a good month or so.

Zero tolerance is the key, I use to play EQ and everyone was very happy becaused they enforced the rules of gameplay and rping.

But this isn't EQ.
He stole a kill.. I can understand being angry for maybe a few minutes.. But it's not like one kill isn't going to effect you that much..

Eh...that little bugger and Aliendude schemed together and stole 200 plat from me. No matter though really...I just plan on casting levitate on them everytime I come upon them.

Wha...? Maybe on some uber guild raid, but then I don't think it's particularly likely that some l33t d3wd could come along and steal Seru away from a raid group. Stealing normal mobs isn't a punishable offence on EQ, it's just bad etiquette.

I Hope that DOESN'T get added. Threating people about fake rules and saying something bad is going to happen to them isn't to nice either. This is funny let me say my story

I needed some money so I run into the dungeon big room and GL was already there killing stuff. So I go and kill monsters too then he PMs me about its illegal to "steal his kills" and its first come first serve in the server.

The server is not developed right now enough for that. I'd rather have this server then none.

There will be the treasure map thing, that shows a point on the map and by digging you can open the entry to some secret little dungeon, the entry closes soon, then on one can disturb you in the dungeon, but it's less safe than the 'public' dungeons because you must get to the end for succeeding.

Yes the jobs (crafting, farming etc.) must be connected to the RPG things.

:rolleyes: Well I see I have a secret admirer. Anyway, during the incident of stealing Geovanie's kills I do believe I remember the threat that he was going to hack my computer, and "I wouldn't disconnect if I were you."
Also, rping is NOT being peaceful and loving towards everyone you come in contact with in case you didn't know. I am aloud to steal your stuff if given the open opportunity to do so.
What next? Take away everyones sword, because I don't like to die and lose the exp I worked sooo hard for? ;)

if you want to get rid of all the stealing get rid of the Pirates they steal everything and act like little kids when they are on.Its stupid to have such a guild...Kinda like Hell Ravens Guild that got disbanded cause it was a bunch of hackers...well these are a bunch of *****s.

I read most of the start of this post, none of the replys... but heres what I say: Kill stealing is bad, but not a problem, the major problem I beleve is the terrible leveling system where the maxium level seems to be 10 with 11,12,13 being not worth the effort, once more,
Why should someone who spends an extra hour getting his 20/20/20 stats be better than someone who spent 3 extra weeks getting to lvl12?
