I hate this day/night system.
Can you see anything?
Staffs from 2k1,make it less darker....

Woah! Where abouts were you when that was taken? But still, if you think about it, back in the medievil age there was no generated light, it was all natural, and out in the country side it would get pretty dark and hard to see, why don't you carry a torch with you?

Googi 12-17-2002 10:39 AM

The Torch was deleted a LONG time ago. There is the lamp though.

Day/night system's been the same for a very long time...it isn't going to be changing anytime soon.

Everything looks fine for me on my screen...even in the darkest parts of the "day" I still am able to see. Might be your video card, your driver, the way graal handles it (are you using the last revision, revision 7?), or even your monitor's brightness could be low.

Looks to me like a video card problem =/
It looks as if the light effects didn't load properly.
To the top right, that black circle sort of resembles what the light npc/script thingies look like in level editor.

if it really bugs you, you can turn of your lighting effects or edit the direct3d settings

Proxy 12-18-2002 12:23 AM

Tis graphics problem, because if you edit the brightnss, it's one HUGE light that didn't load properly or something. o.O

Kamaeru 01-28-2003 01:55 AM

wtf....he dont got no problems, it always looks like that for me too...

Dude6252000 01-28-2003 02:12 AM

Tip of the Day: WHen it's dark, and you'd rather be laggy than blind, zoom in. It gets rid of lighting effects :O

AlexH 01-28-2003 02:18 AM

Have you ever been alone at night, thought you heard footsteps behind
And turned around an no one's there?
And as you quicken up your pace, you find it hard to look again
Because you're sure there's someone there

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Okay I'm done with my music.
Anyways it's a problem on your end.
The day, night effect has never been that dark for me.
If it's still like that just turn light effects off.
