Iprove Weapon Damage
 

I have a question about Prepare Weapon and IWD.. how does it work exactly?
I was told you lay the diamonds on the ground, read the Preapre weapon scroll, then read Improve Weapon Damage.

I was just wondering if this was the proper way to do it or not. thanks. :D

That seems about right to me, but you forgot about marking the weapon (it doesn't need to be equipped, though).

So I think it would go something like this (using a diamond blade as an example):

Say "/mark diamond blade" ..
Then drop the diamonds (however many for the upgrade that you want, I think it's seven per level) ..
Use the Prepare Weapon Scroll ..
Then finally use the Increase Weapon Damage Scroll.

That should do it .. I've never done it myself, but I've gathered that this is the proper method. Did I get it? :p

-It's the square root of how many upgarde slots you want on the weapon, when you use prepare weapon you can use diamonds to add slots, it's better to save up diamonds now and buy as many slots as you can (say /skills to see your max) anyways so 36 diamonds gives you 6 slots, 9 diamonds is 3 slots, etc.

-Make sure the weapon is on your good account when used, once you used prepare weapon on an item it becomes a Youname's Weapon and can only be used on that account

Also every Improve weapon damage increases the weapon's weight by 5kg

Can you add slots on at a later time, so if you filled up your slots and wanted to add 5 more you could?

What purpose do the slots serve?

Ok say you prepare your weapon using 36 diamonds, that will give you 6 slots.

Each slot can be filled with the follow "I may miss something, sorry"

1. Improve Weapon Damage
2. Improve Power Bonus "Pow, str, wis, etc."
3. Lower Weapon Weight

Enchant Weapon, and the Improve Bonus' don't work. Yet.

Enchant Weapon does work.

Yes, Enchant weapon does like +1 effect and stuff to a weapon.

That was poorly divided.
Enchant Weapon is the other improvement, and
Improve Bonuses don't work.

theres also enchant armor but im not sure if that takes up a slow >.<

Just a shot in the dark, but one would assume that would enchant armor, not weapons

Enchant Armour doesn't need a slot and it makes your armor get a +1AC bonus and also increases the weight of the armour a little.

There is a maximum amount of times you can use it on an item: you can do it once before level 10 and at and above level 10 you can do it twice to an item

Thats if, unlike me, your items don't break and you wasted a lot of money -_-

how could you IWD a Blood Sabre???lol.....i have a naginata of bile +1 but i prayed for 1 and 30 miuns for ir to goto +2 but it idnt =(

You have to be level 8 wisdom for it to go +2

Can it also be +3?

12 Wisdom, I believe it is every 4 wisdom levels.

and how long praying when u lvl8 wisdom with 10wisdom stats point?

I need to find someone who prays to Govannon, I have a Vicious Axe of Govannon that i'd like a +2 added to.

Then it should take a bit longer than ogma/govannon who are (high) for enchant, but shorter than diancecht who is (low). i think it may determine the level you need to be too, because aengus (my god) is medium like bile, but he won't give me +2 even though i'm level 9 wisdom (its a katana btw ;)) so it might be every 4th level for high, 5th for med, 6th for low, but i'm probably wrong on that so don't quote me :P

if im lvl6 wisdom and i pray 5hours to bile it will be +1?
