The Plan?
I am planning to make a new playerworld,not for the power,
but caz graal is getting boring.

The Idea?
My idea is to have a real life simulation into graal.

Just picture this:
You take a picture of your house.We turn it into graal style gfx.

There will tons of fun things to do..
Go skateboarding or bmxing...get a kiss by your g/f.
Or even be in a famous band.
It will be based on 2002-2003.

The Variety?

The playerworld will have a ton of variety.
There will be tons of different clothing and accesories.
There will be over 10 tilesets for maximum variety.

The Staff?

I really need some people willing to help out.
You know how hard it would be to do it by myself?
Already Done?
Era is not like this.Era is ppl in mafias killing ppl and doing other things.Era is nothing like real life and era is not really fun.

The Point?
Graal is so boring now...
Medieval server this and that?There boring...
I think the graal public deserves to have something fun to do.

If your trying to make a "real world" vibe PW, it might be a bad item. Something like that would just die quickly, :(

It won't . Its not really like the exact world.It will be similar.

I don't see this working well with the Graal engine. For one, the idea isn't really bad, but who really cares to get online and play a game where you're living a life in the present? I mean if there is no fantasy twist or time difference it's pretty pointless. It's like getting on to live in a house and ride a bike when you do that IRL already.

One of the biggest downsides is that the Graal engine isn't really suited for this type of thing. If you're making graphics and stuff based off of real house pictures, it would be easier to do that with 3D modeling and textures than to go and freehand draw entire house sets for each individual person. Plus you'd need whole new everything. Current bodies and system wouldn't work well, and definitely not graphics. So you'd need to work on this thing for like, a year, just to get anything good out of it.

Hmm the gfx wont be that hard to do.If we haad a big enough gfx team,we could split them up into different assignments.

Over 10 tilesets sounds pretty hard to me, well not neccessarily hard, just time consuming.
As Koni said, I think it's a good idea, but might be suited too well for Graal.

I mean at least throw in some fantasy aspect. Pokemon is kinda set in the present time yet they have this whole other thing happening. Make like... I dunno... Fantasy creatures, aspects, something.

A server based on the present isn't very exciting. I'd much rather be out actually living then playing a game where I'm living and stuff. (outside of fantasy games which is basically the entire premise of playing games, to escape reality)

this idea is cool, but would take forever to make, and make properly, btw thrashsoul, TG is gone now.

if you want to make real 3d animation on the charecter set and everthing else you need to get MAYA at aliaswavefront.com for free but if you are using a cable modem it may tak 30 minutes

sounds like a really cool idea to me, worth a try

4 people chose to live in a video game. Now trying to live together under one roof in the real world... Graal!

Seriously. There's no point for it to be on graal. Graal is a Fantasy RPG.

Nobody is going to log on to play something they could go ahead and "play" while NOT on the computer. I don't want to go "BMXing" on a game by pressing a few buttons when I could go do it myself, or get in trouble for shoplifting when I don't want to get in trouble for shoplifting (who does, in fact?). This does not sound like the least bit of fun.

Maybe if you made an ever-changing world with things like quests to do, and alternatives like being able to walk into a store and hold it up with your dagger, and the guards get on you and you have a bounty. That's a suggestion, but I know of a playerworld it's already being used on.

Hehe that would be cool :O, but what is this influencing ;)

This project will not go anywhere. If you guarantee what you say then I might help out. Before I even have the slightest thought of considering, try pixelating my house first. :asleep:

This isn't life. It's a game.

Well actually, judging by what the "For Parents" section on the main site, it basically tells you that this will help you prepare for life. Toran, your not doing a good job of it. And dont come back at me saying your 13, your parents dont care about a game, still, the main page tells the truth whether its for your parents or not. Its pshyological more than anything. So juding by the people that act on graal, we can realize how many idiots there will sprout in the near yet so distant future. Have a nice day!

PS to all of you reading this, this is not just wailing on Toran, its getting you people to awknowledge what you are doing and see how you can fix your life. Toran is just a small example. No hard feelins Toran:\ . So take some things in reminder, dont be scared, I dont know all of you bad ones but I know some that have been on graal for quite a while and those staff positions have drove you mad.
To all again:
I'm not some priest or whatever the sopposed "goodie-goodie" in your religion (if you have one). If you met me in real life, you'd probably want to talk to a Drill Sargent instead, alot nicer. Hey, looks like we all have something in common, time to make some changes.
