I was talking with Stefan the other day, and he is allowing my server, Anarchy to share a ******* with Renegade. So now we can get some GFX people, which we need badly, and get this thing finished! I've done most of the NPC"s and Myth has a lot of the levels. If someone thinks they can make a decent tileset, we are in DESPERATE need, and I'm willing to show our progress too if you must see it ;)

Why not? If one of the server's has the ability to cover up the flaws of the other server, and vice versa, wouldn't that be good? I'm not saying that it is functioning like that right now , but just maybe. The only problem I would see as serious is the power issue.

I don't like the idea of having servers share their space, almost making two seperate playterworlds, but there is not much I can do about that. If Stefan wants it, fine by me. Also there is the issue of who's private server it is. Is Renegade staff now obliged to give you full server rights? Who will run the server? What happens to Shifter's server when Renegade goes public? (which may happen in about a week).

Make sure you back up your server files every other day, I'm not saying that anyone will go deleting things, but it does happen. This applies to all private playerworlds planning to share.

Well no offense. But in the Past, PS kept asking for more rights etc... and gets angry and looses it far too quick. So you know. I wouldnt like to be sharing PWs! And what about corruption of one team? One may steal, delete others scripts or edit them. And when they do open.... They have to pick out all of the levels and gfx and scripts etc from the long list.... ''Chaso''

If your going to use the same nc its going to be an ass on the level list and npcs

LOL, you underestimate my intelligence. The thing Stefan said was make sure that we can trust eachother equally. He is a friend of mine I've long since lost touch with. But it's coolies, and I've set things up. All of our NPC's have //Anarchy at the top, probably they will all start with an A, but I will have only 3 or 4 weapons in NC, he he, my secret pplz, new NPC Menu system that doesn't use the same things, so that was it. And I will have some classes as the thing, and a single DB NPC for strings is about it!
The levels, we only have access to our own, and theirs to theirs. It's in seperate folders levels/renegade and levels/anarchy and it's already setup (via me) into Folder Config. We've got it, so no one can be deleting =p Plus we know a lot of the staff so no worries. And when Renegade goes public, that's a bridge I'm willing to cross when the time comes. We will of course remove ourself at that point, but before it happens I expect to be up enough to "knock your socks off" aftershock, then I will get my own G-S-e-r-v-er (it bleeps it =/)

Yes i am trying to get the overworld completed as fast as possible.But we want to save a portion for the tileset so We will have a different continent and stuff.
Like how much different Asia looks than USA well thats what we want so players will enjoy the experiance and Me and PS are looking for good GFX people!!!!

Why would you go up on another server.
Surely if you were good enough Stefan would just give you your own hidden player world.

That's the problem.

I don't think it has enough content in terms of levels, things to do etc. to pass the PWA test, so technically it cannot have it's own private server.

we have more levels name a few servers out now.we are working on stuff now it takes PS foreverto get sumtin done =D

wow, another pw doesn't go through the proper pw testing. That's a surprise.

we are ganna go through Stefan just said we could use it cause PS scripts Hardcore NPC-server and we need 1 cause he willl have some complex crap made lol.

That's tough ****. Why do you think you get to go private for a week or so to convert?

Why don't we just kill the tests and let anyone who has any simple idea of starting a playerworld have a private server.
