A list?

is there anyway i can get a list of all the stuff on Graal Kingdoms?

BlKnight 11-17-2002 11:37 PM

Maybe if you had around 20k to convince people to do it.

TeRRi2k 11-17-2002 11:45 PM

:) or just get everyone to post a few items. eventually we'll get all of them XD

yonkazz 11-19-2002 08:05 AM

i dont mean for other people to make it.
like you know how if you buy a new game you get a little instructions booklet, well i was wondering if anyone had made "one" for Graal and if so where it is.

TeRRi2k 11-19-2002 10:00 AM

there isn't a so called 'instruction' booklet -.- it takes the fun away from the whole game if you have to follow 'instructions' just run around and interact with other players. maybe you can find someone else whos new and you two can both find things out and learn from eachother

Unfortuntetly, now that tons of classic people have upgraded the most common response to a mass like "Can anyone help me with a few things?" would be "DIE YOU ****ING STUPID ****".

Every game has an official database on their website.

if it has n e thing to do with with 2k2, try alyad's 2k2 manual, that should help you..

its is under a sticky thread

Anyone who says it takes away the fun to have directions towards the obscure but necessary aspects of the game clearly has forgotten what it is to be a newbie and wholly mystified that woodsman doesn't work on some items and does on others, or that sorcerors cannot wield pickaxes, or that warriors can't hunt as effectively as wizards, or that swords are sodding useless on wolves, or that you need to be at least level 5 or peaceful to enter a dungeon, or that you need keys and a superhigh level to get through a haunted house, or that overall levels boost your hitpoints, or that all scrolls and potions are temporary unless it's a special kind of icon, or that poison food can be uncursed, or that teeth can be identified and sold.........

Kingdoms = unfriendly to newbies. There are two solutions. One is you can direct newbies along the path to midbieism. The other is that you can be no systemic help at all, and just live with the constant masses of "WHERE DO I MAKE MONEY FAST?!?"

TeRRi2k 11-20-2002 05:36 AM

:o well every oldbie used to be a newbie.

Well that just what I thought, having direct instructions to follow isn't the best way to learn from your own experience. But hey, when I first played, I was pretty confused and kept asking for help, and some people are very reluctent to helping you, so I just went exploring on my own, trained on my own, and when I died, I was more careful next time, blah blah and so forth. It's like someone going "K DONT GO INTO THE DUNGEON COZ YOU"LL DIE. WHY? COZ UR NOT LEVELED UP" and eventually you'll get tired of fightning shell bomies and you get curious and go in and die. No instruction book can teach better than you actually experiencing it.

That's where knowing how to use a sword in real life comes into play... anyway...
I will not waste my time on making a list if it dramatically decreases the fun of finding stuff and the enjoyment of character development.

What exactly would you want to know about the server that hasn't been explained in one of the Graal 2002 Information fourm.
Read Unix posts.
They could be called instruction manuals.
