Graal3000 hiring
 

Graal 3000 is returning and we need GFX people for the tileset, if you are extremely good with graphics, forum pm me, or instant message me on aim (kronan101). I dont really want to release any info about what Graal 3000 will actually be like, because we want to suprise you. And, if you are good at levels we need you also, we want high quality detailed levels, e-mail them to [email protected].

I think 3000 would be alot better without a tileset. I dont know why. I just think it would.

I don't want to see a server with a pretty tileset.
I want to see a server with a lot of fun stuff to do.
The normal Graal tileset is fine as it is.
People should worry more about giving players something fun to do rather than how good their new tileset will be.

i agree.
Make alot of events,quests,jobs other kind of games or fun systems to the server.
Becuse alot of servers have lack of fun.

Yeah look at Gaia (Sorry) but when it was first releaced, great tileset! But it didn't have many things to do. As they spent too long on a tileset that they frogot about detail on levels and mass of levels! =(

i agree wholeheartedly...I love the old tileset and whenever im in a server with a new tileset it just feels weird..know what I mean?

So, you's think we would be better off not making a new tileset?

If you are interested in helping, please instant message me (kronan101) to help with npcs, and levels, since you all dont want a new tileset, we probably wont do it.

So yeah, one can (try) to bring back an old playerworld, but you need to add new stuff to it. :)

Cool. Im going to rbing back Auriour, Xone, Sindra. (Not really) Im helping with Rudora. Which is easy as Rudora was small that 50% is nothing. Level wise we have added about 250% more. And we gotta finish some bits.

Valkoria got back up, with out changing ONE level. Why can't g3k? (Though they're changing the levels)..

I have good news! I have the origional Graal 3000 levels from like 3 years ago! the origional Halcyon city! current2.graal, to you's that remember old G3K.. well, what ive been working on is a new halcyon, I renamed it to "Halycon" cause it sounds better, we are going to have origional g3k classes + jobs. My staff manager is working on a certain npc for when you go in the water, and then when you come out, your all wet, and you walk slow, so you need a towel to dry off, you can purchase towels, etc.. and the towels can ware off after a while. If we get up I am going to upload the old G3k with the new so people can see what the old looked like :). Ive made a really cool RP quest, it goes like, you go to a house and you try to enter but you cant, there is an old guy that lives there that, sends you on a mission to retrieve a package from a friend of his in a cave. you have to go down the old guys water well, and look for a key, when you find the key, you have to go to the "ice mines" the origional ones from old Graal 3000, and in the ice mines you will see a guy walking around killing baddies, you walk up to him, and he gives you the package for the old guy, then you leave the ice mines, killing the baddies, and then deliver the package to the old guy, and he gives you a full heart.

Thats what I already made. Anyone have any other ideas for fun things?

Don't forget to have a slower "air dry" option

Nobody is going to want to buy towels so they can venture off to a quest and not have to walk slow :\

Ok well Jaffer (LAT Admin) is here.
I need 2 talented LATs on Graal3000.


1 level: A forest level try to add mountains, water paths etc etc, but still orginality and nice tiling in the level.
Add atleast 1 nice tiled house in the level.:)

2. This is like an forest level to, but its a forest town.
Just a forest town, i like the most kind of levels so its your choice how you think it should look like. Atleast 2 houses.

3. A inside level. Try to tile the floor nicely, try to tile your own walls also. Always a + if its any point at being in the level.
For exampel something that you can do.

Yes it's not, actually pretty bad.

It's an ok layout.
But if you ask me the paths are way to big. And inside the paths are tiled terribly, atleast make an attempt to not repeat those tiles over in a row. Use the 4 of them as they are designed, looks much better.

Since this isn't based on the level, it's on the server, now I'll talk about that.

Well, as a former G3K player I hope it gets up, but it won't be the same, it can't be the same. Hopefully you guys keep the little things that made it fun, like the classes (which I see you kept) and the guild wars. Guilds were fun, BTK vs. all basically (late G3K) and if people wanted a house up on G3K they could get it.

Yes, thanks for reminding me about those paths, I did mess up with the tiles inside, ive fixed them all now, so it looks better.

Jaffer, of what I've seen of you.. You're not a nice guy (looking at the levels board)..I think Cortez probably has a reason for not being a "Good friend"

To long sorry and i dont think we should talk about it here.
I can say that we have been good freinds but ended up like sorta enemies.
:( i dont generely have a problem with Cortez its just that he
isnt nice to anyone.
:\ he was a good freind when he was ET on babylon.
But he became ET Admin, and then he ignored me like i was nothing. When he was admin he didnt even talk to me anymore.

Its a much longer storry but thatws just a litle rewiew of it.


Well after 2 months i come back after i had been on a vecation.
I get a LAT postion on babylon (i get wery happy).
Cortez dont like it and start going to Draco all the time telling him to fire me.

Cortez dont have a good reason to BE MEAN to everybody he see.

Who's Draco.. I don't recall Cortez getting any one fired aside from Koji.. (NOT Kojiro)..That was so long ago, when he was ET Admin. Rofl. He's not mean to me..
