Sorry Here
|
It's pretty plain, and the paths are too straight, keep on making levels and you'll get a whole lot better, practice makes perfect ;)

really plain, the light on the tree is not good at all x_x. Keep practicing and you could become really good though :)
hmm i'd say 2.3/5 for effort... |

Im doing this review from the point that this person hasnt made many levels before. (As I seem to get the idea your starting out)
If you saw my first level this is alot better than mine! You have some very intresting ideas here... With the train station/hut thats cool as I havent seen one like that before. On the lights change them a bit..... for eg: You have.... seteffect 1,1,1,0.99; Why not use... seteffect 1,0.6,0.7,0.79; (A nice glow effect Happens) Also with the light on the tree reduce the brightness so: seteffect 0,1,0,0.99; The bit in bold is the brightness, reduce its value to reduce its brighness, I like 0.69 as thats bright but not too much, although on a tree 0.39-0.49 would be better as it would just highlight it and not shine bright! ''Davids Bar'' looks very good for a begginer, I only started doing houses with no roofs recently. :( But where the chairs are dont put them on the walls or over the darkred/brown border as it will look better if you don't. ''The Red House'' looks ok, but on the side dont put them tiles over the shadow either stop the shadow or put them after it, also with the door stick to the normal door or some sort of darkness tiles and not the wooden poles =) ''The Pond'' is great for a start out level maker as alot of people make it so that the tiles dont match up or anything, and I can see you took your time over this, but try next time to make the pond more interesting like in my attachment but ignore the detail, just look at how the pond windes around a bit more and give the level a better look. Last thing is the tile error with the bushes, if you want to overlap them, look in the attachment and I have overlapped some and they only look good that way as it isnt as obvious as the tiles connect better! There are 2 ratings for this level Sparks Begginer Rating: 8/10 Sparks Normal Rating: 4.5/10 If I was you only take notice of the Begginer Rating, as the other rating is marked agains all the levels Ive ever seen. But carry on with level making, I hope to see some good levels in the future from you. |

In Spark's picture theres a tile error that seams it can't be fixed, but in the lower right-hand corner of the tile set, theres a tile that WILL Fix it. It looks like this.
Sorry for the discoloration. |
oooh, I didnt know they were there. <3
Anyway thats the first ever full outside level I made so its full of them If I was to post the whole thing. |

as for a rating 4.5/10 for starting off this is a alf decent level, work on putting some more grass detailing and try not to make the pathways so straight, as the old saying goes practice makes perfect:D |
2.2/5
