Graal Bomy Moon needs development staff of the following types:
Levels
Graphics
Scripts
Animation


Persons outside the Americas are strongly encouraged to apply, though all may rest assured that no Americans will be discriminated against as a result of living in the western hemisphere. Good spelling, grammar, vocabulary suggested. Plagiarism will result in blacklisting and originality will be rewarded.


Prospective level makers are to prepare, as a test, a town of no smaller size than two by two levels, in NW format, with a minimum of four interior levels.

Prospective graphic designers are to prepare, as a test, 5 graphics for a medieval warrior, which may include heads, swords, shields, hats, suits of armor, or anything else. No two of the submitted images may be a recolor of any other image.

Scripters are to submit a minimum of three scripts, preferably compatible with the NPC server. Efficiency will be rewarded. Scripts are to be submitted in a text file or within a NW-format level.


Animators are to submit five gani files.


All applicants are to complete this questionairre:

1. In what country do you live? If you live in the United States, Canada, Russia, or any other large country, please state either time zone in the form of GMT offset (i.e. -6 for American central time) or provide a town/city.

2. How much time can you devote to Graal Bomy Moon?

3. In approximately what month of what year did you first play Graal?

4. How much Graal Gold time do you have left; if it is under 50 days, do you intend to reupgrade?

5. Please list all Graal work experience, including FAQ, GP, Events Team, or anything else.

Deadline is November 30, midnight central standard time.

All applications deviating from the application format or submitted after the deadline will be disregarded.

Rejection letters will be sent to all persons who do not make the cut, such that there will be no doubt that your letter was received.

We want a couple people on at night so the Australians etc can easily interact in realtime with developers. Anyway, the point is, we're hiring, send us your applications.

Q3 is largely to clear out applications from people who just started a month ago, etc...we'd really like for people to have a few months' experience...

Uhh..Jeff, you are hiring Gani Team MEMBERs and not a new gani admin, right? Because if you haven't heard, I haven't been on from severe computer troubles.

...Yeah, cause, so many people who just started last month are just such great level makers and scripters.

The only case I can think of in which such a fluke happened was Kaimetsu.

What kind of scripts are needed for the application?

Probably ones that Graal BM would find useful.

umm.....being in a specific time zone doesn't influence what time they would be on cause they aren't necessarily to come on during the day or night or whatever time you expect them to due to a time zone.

Anyways, it doesn't matter much. I was kind of stating that you won't ever hold a job. Of any kind. FAQ / Police is about as high as you'll ever go.

Besides, as I said before, FAQ is as high as I really want to go, I already make things for bomys, being Bomy Admin just means that they can get uploaded faster.

I assume you'd be refering to my submission of the colored pearl system to Rabid instead of you? I haven't heard any complaints about the colored pearl system. Which implies that it was a good update...

This may come as a shock, but you are not "the server". Therefore expressing negativity about you does not equal expressing negativity about the server.

This kind of attitude to game design does not make for a good manager of a game server. We wouldn't want somebody that views game design with such a ridiculous bias.

Bleh, you know what I mean. Any high staff position involves management aspects - if you were the FAQ Honcho then you would need to manage the FAQ side to the game, for example. I simply feel that you would be a poor choice for any position where your decisions have an effect on the running of the server.
