Secret of Mana system
 

sslink has been working on this, and got it pretty close.

If you played SoM, go ahead, critique and compare, if not, still try it out since i always like the secret of mana system, because you dont just hack and slash, you time it.
he haves't made any good graphics for it yet

But I think he moves too slow without dashing, might get frustrating for players.

that is the whole point of powering up, your tilemovement is dependable upon your speed

This is great. I have to agree that the default movement is way to slow. Mayb speed it up a bit. Thats my opinion.

Link's gonna get the stick when I see him =P I had to repair and edit an NPC of his... the Renegade NPC Menu, and some of the things in it were, um, really really bad x-x He's a good friend of mine, so I'm not badmouthing him, but I'll have to show him a few tricks ;) He created this HUGE, HUGE variable array that basically just made things that added 16 to the previous one, and he called a double array for a y coordinate this.weapony[this.wy[w]] which was not the best way x-x And it was in a for Statement, he he, he could've just used 98+w*16 and saved himself a lot of time. So I"ll have to talk to him ;) And I didn'ts ee a single function either =P

I think you should make some baddies for your system!
i wanted to aks you if you want to make a server with me and we take that cool npc fomr you for our system! because it is very nice!

No, he hasn't - from what I understand they're working on a server, and Scream posts the progress every so often in the appropriate forum. You can see some of it in the graphics forum; they first worked on the tileset, and are now on the systems.

Actually, he let Ferret use his account, (And was banned for it), but did not share with SS Link. :-\

I withdraw my statement. After re-reading it, I did notice a difference.

and you gotta fix the speed
