Dicipline System

[Purpose: To give some much needed advanatge to warriors and thieves who do not have anyhting special of their own. Might sound a BIT like piety but nowhere near as complicated or as good.]

[Description: A skill which thieves and warriors start off with, and can be bought as a scroll]

[Background: Most styles of combat employed by warriors, martial artists, assassins, and gladiators alike copy the movements of an animal. The most common of these creatures are the tiger, the snake, the eagle, and the dragon. These fighters train to encorperate their natural skill and wisdom.]

[Explanation: There are four statues, each incorporating the spirit of one of the animals after which a major combat style was created. Anyone with the dicipline skill can go to one of these statues and ask them to bless your weapon. yes, that's all they do, bles your weapon, and obviously only once. If you want to switch, you simply go another statue and ask it for it's blessing.

Statue of The Tiger (Retribution)
Effect: Turns your weapon into a "Weapon of Tiger's Claw", and changes the damage to fire damage.

Statue of The Serpent (Devastation)
Effect: Turns your weapon into a "Weapon of Serpent's Fang", and changes the damage to poison damage.

Statue of the Eagle (Fortification)
Effect: Turns your weapon into a "Weapon of Eagle's Talon", and changes the damage to lightning damage.

Statue of The Dragon (Unity)
Effect: Turns your weapon into a "Weapon of Dragon's Breath", and changes the damage to cold damage.]

Vote: Yes it's good

I think something more needs to be done for warriors, unlike mages and other magic users, a warrior gets up close and risks getting killed a lot more (and usually does) untill much higher levels. and still with 100 or so hp, if your in the middle of 5 skellys, they take out about half of it per hit (if all attacking at once)
