"snowstorm killed Locke_boy" What?!
 

What's up with this? I had peaceful ON. I was in a dungeon, and then some crazy warp thing happened, so I unstuck. I started heading towards Tarnathia. There were some people on a beach, and surrounding them was a snowstorm. Harmless, of course! Right? Wrong.. I walked through it, and next thing I know, I'm dead, killed by a snowstorm. Normally I'd brush this aside and go on, but this is just plain ridiculous! If I were killed by a monster, fine! .. but some random homicidal snowstorm? No! Look, I want to be restored. I won't play until I am, and I can assure you of that, because today I'm getting a new game that I can occupy myself with until I'm restored. I'll show a screenshot to prove that I died and had peaceful on. :grrr:

If you had peaceful OFF (which you said you did), then it's actually your fault.

Oh, I meant "on." Just look at the screenshot, it shows that. Sorry, I was sort of angered and wasn't thinking clearly. I'll edit that and fix it now.

Who were those people?

I'm not really sure. :( It was three people I think, they were talking, one was a girl .. I'm guessing that the accountname "supermarco" was with them. :\

the only thing I can think of is if someone use a scroll of create missile and then casted spells... it causes the arrow to take the credit for the spell casting and it is like a baddie casted it ... or maybe something else... that is all I can think of

Happens when you log off while the duration of the spell is still going... the spell loses guidance and no longer has an owner of the spell... which is also a pretty nasty bug for runes as well when someone leaves it and logs... almost killed myself with rune of blasting once....

oh yeh, forgot about that reason, I accidentally killed someone by placing a rune of frost at the starting area one day :S

I'm sure that isn't a pleasant experience, but you don't need to overreact over something that happens in a game. I don't understand why you need to quit because this happens to you once.

Heh, well, I'm not really quitting. I would come back and just give it another go, but I've recently gotten hooked on Pha-- EHR-- can't .. mention .. other .. MMORPGs .. :whatever:

So, yeah. :o
