Regarding Mista Micro's loss of position
 

All he worked on was graphics.

His levels were decent.

He lacked any real NPC scripting skill - all of his npcs only copied what other people's NPCs did, and if he couldn't find something that fell into the category of what he wanted to do, he asked someone else to do it for him (sometimes even when there was another NPC that did the same thing).

The amount of work he contributed to g2k1, compared to any other staff member, was quite lacking. He made a dagger NPC, with my help to make it actually HURT the player. He made a throwing dagger, after much research with the shoot command. He made some graphics, such as a new skin for the bogen and arrows, as well as some graphics for his "magic system"

As for his "magic system", he made the graphics, someone else made the explosion and fireball ganis based on his graphics (I believe it was Mido who did it), he got me to help him with the hurting, and he was going to get cheetos or I to make the menu for his magic system. What does that show us? That shows me, at least, that his talent is in graphics.

And as for his statement that "we don't know what he was working on", I've yet to see him actually tell/show us this.

In RC Chat, he constantly whined about how he was alone, how people didn't like him, how he was this horrible victim (I believe you saw even more of this in his post about being fired), how he felt like "it was about time for him to move on", and other such things.

He also had a bad habit of attempting to work on projects that other staff were already working on, such as a new doll project (3 days after Kae and I worked out a plan for it), and a theater (2-3 MONTHS after Rabid had started his theater). The funny thing is, I had told Micro about the theater when he started working on it, but he said that he would work on one anyway. When I asked him about it a month or so later, he swore and then deleted what he had done (and the levels he didn't even do himself, he had other players do them for him!). Yet he made all these "projects" that we're supposed to attribute to him.

The other staff, myself included, had fired several complaints against his lack of work and his attitude. (I became worried when he set his nick to "Mista Micro (Rogue Staff)" and said that it made him feel good. That raised a major red flag with me.

And when I hear that he was on some other server telling the co-manager there that he shouldn't hit him becuase he was "superior, because he worked on 2k1, and 2k1 is better than providence", that just was the straw that broke the camel's back, in my opinion/respect of him, that is.

He shouldn't have had any more rights to begin with than graphics directories, and possibly level access, because that is where his ablities lie.

If you guys re-hire micro, my best advice is to give him these rights, at most.

I agree with everything, but adding on to what you said. I asked micro to make me a feather gfx a LONGG time ago, he blew me off. He was "uber busy" or "gone", so he was enjoying working in his own little happy magic system world as he blew off making a small icon gfx for me. x.x I agree especially with the lazier than most staff part.

What troubles me the most is that i thought karsh was my friend.. but this is just.. stupid.

A lot of people "fake" graal friendships, which I don't understand.

People will be nice to your face and talk behind your back until they believe you no longer have any sort of power ;]

Not that I'm saying Karsh did that...but it is common in Graal. If I left Graal right now, how many of you would keep in contact with me?

I never hid my feelings about you Micro. For a while you had seemed to change, and I was willing to put my opinions about you behind me. But, you hadn't changed after all. Sorry Micro, but I always speak my mind. Always.

And Lyndzey, as for faking a 'graal friendship', I don't really see a point either. I treat everyone the same basically, even people that act like complete idiots. I don't waste my time faking any 'friendships'.

Oh yes, we're all backstabbing sobs because you got fired for many reasons. And I USED to be your friend until you started acting like a bish and complaining so much after you because staff. So now you're going to blame it on us hardworking staff. Don't even get me started, Micro.

I'd just like to say I enjoyed your constant 'audits' of everyone's use of the admin NPC, as well as those other cute (annoying) things you did, while working on so few things yourself.
