I'm pretty surprised no-one posted in here for a while...
Well, lets shake a couple of things in here...

Anyhow... I am wondering what are the norms of a scripter... Seeing scripting evolves a lot, is this the peek of good scripters?

You see, most good scripters now have been playing for several years, but, now-a-days, the norms are going a lot higher, so, the new scripters really have no choice, they are left behind seeing they aren't good enough.. While only a couple of years ago, they'd be consider pretty good! I know for a fact I've had a little bit of trouble. To make things even harder, The Server NPC is here, making the new scripters only be capible of running scripts offline... which is a great handicap, maybe to fix this problem, stefan should make a Server for Testers... Every Testor could go on, and have only access to #a_test.nw! And when they log on to the server, it would warp them to the test level...

Things like that would be great for testings and shoing off NPCs so that scripts don't get stolen! It would be something great to have...

I wanted mainly to start some conversations in the NPC Server... Some scripters are wonderful! And... I do not say that the past scripts are aweful, for I think they are still good! Maybe editing them a bit to fit current standards or weapon systems, and they'd still be useful!

If anyone need help, I can help you pretty much...

Well... Learning today would be a little harder to reach the standards seeing that the language evolved... but, the basic conspects are still the same... The new commands are to make bigger, and better systems mostly... But we can still do some of it with the old Graal Versions...

I wanted to talk about the Norms of scripting, but, making a big fuss on something else... Ohwell! Just delete this thread is what you want, I'll just make another one to point-point Norms of scripters...
