I'm tired of all these Flaming Aura lamers running around skeleton dungeon getting exp in a flash without doing a damn thing...
Fix the flaming aura in some sorta of way so it isn't superpowerful!

its not superpowerful. It takes forever to kill a Trex with it, and it burns items ect ect, its very balanced, i think your just mad cuz lots of people have it =P

No its superpowerful all you have to do is walk around and wait

its superpowerful against skeletons

Hell your mostlily defending it because you have it yourself

yes, it is very powerful, lvl 1 spell that costs 6 grace. i wont deny it, its good to level with lol. its also the ONLY reason I worship balor: no other god to my knowledge grants such a good spell..or any spells for that matter.

MAKE BRIGID GIVE YOU SOMETHING USEFUL AND I WILL GO BACK TO MY LUV BRIGID!! OTHERWISE I CONTINUE TO LEVEL WITH CHEAP SPELLS WITH -2 HEALTH REGEN FROM MOSTLY CRAPPY GOD BALOR *MUMBLE*

Exactly. It may be a great spell, but the only way to get it is by worshipping Balor, who just screws with your stats. -2 health regen is a killer, literally. Unless someone's got a healing spell and is fast on their feet (even that's not a guarantee for survival), they're dead. A few hits from a dievil, and you're down to low HP that will not recover for quite a while. There's the disadvantage. Oh, and also the fact that you burn all those nice items the monsters drop. ;)

I worshipped Balor once, and personally, I don't think it's worth it, just for that one spell. :P

[edit] However, something needs to be done to disallow the usage of this spell in shops. They fixed the bug that would let someone cast into a shop by casting right before the warp .. so obviously that means it is not right. So, this isn't right, either! :p [/edit]

skelllys are weak little kids, i can kill the whole batch of them using my flaming sword in just a little over 8 seconds longer than it takes me with flaming aura (level 9 wisdom, level 7 physique)

none of the other gods do anything so..

*thinks back to when Juron first used that spell* *remembers in a shop one day, where someone by the name of... Girum Rivclaw (ghost pirate) saying: Burn! Burn them! ... referring to the rings* ^.^

Lot's of the magic is too overpowered.
Some of it needs to be toned down a little.
Like they should only be allowed to hit so many mosters in one spell casting.

Sure maybe it can kill NPC's or what not, but you couldnt kill me (or a lot of other people) with flaming aura if your life depended on it. Its really a weak spell and takes forever to kill something.

Magic in general is not overpowered... It's just people use it effectively that makes you think its overpowered...

tell me how many of those spells are actually implemented though, how many of those can you actually GET?

yes, it seems like balor is the ony god that has a spell to give at the momment... and only one spell at that :P. I want some of Dian's spells, just so I can actually hurt things and get wisdom exp on my own! >_<

Ed told me DianCecht get Sunspear at level 7 wisdom. It is like small lightning. Some spells you need a certain wisdom level to get. Flaming Aura is a level 1 spell.

OH REALLY?! That's the spell I wanted ^.^ Oh Joy! ok well I guess I'll get to level 7 and then start praying again :P. Hmmm maybe all the gods do give out stuff... however I was at level 6 and brigid didn't give me anything :(

I agree with Ghost Pirate. It is way too overpowered. I have/had flaming aura too. All you need is really fast speed and you can get to a high level in no time.

So you can for sure get Sunspear at level 7 wisdom from DianCecht? I just dont want to try and lose 1-2 wisdom levels trying to become a follower of Dian, then not getting a spell and having to go back to Balor to get my wisdom back o.O

I'm not 100% sure about the Sunspear being at level 7... But... since Staff of Sunspear(lev 3) exists.... and im not getting sunspear at level 6 wisdom.... i infered that its a level 7 spell
