Shouldn't a 2k2 databse be provided on the GO website?
Almost all mmorpgs have a database of their weapons, locations, shops etc. on the official website. All it takes is some time, and effort, which players don't have because they get nothing from it. And it is much easier for the 2k2 staff to simply upload/update the information when they upload/change an item than people finding items and constantly updating their website.
One could say that you should try and find things out on your own, this would be nice in a perfect world, BUT people aren't willing to go look around the whole map to find an item and make it just to see what it does. They will PM on Graal (annoying) and ask on the forums. And it's hard to blame them. Or at least have a database on the site but have people update it if there is no time for staff to do it. Like you can go to a form and insert specific information about items simular to news. Ie. for food, weapons, baddies, and stores. Food: Flour Effect: +5 Made: Created by taking corn to a windmill and pressing A. Required in Process: Corn Other Notes: Is commonly used to make bread. Weapon: Dragon Slayer Class: Mace Location: Dungeon 3 Attained: By slaying war orcs Stats: +12 Damage +2 WC +10 Fire Damage (Attack Type: Physichal, Cold) Other Notes: Can be sold for plenty of money as it is rare. Baddie: War Orc Location: Dungeon 3, Outside around Forest Island Drops: Dragon Slayer, Large Gold Nuggets Other Notes: VERY FAST Location (Town or relative directions)/Island: Ningus/Trade Island 1 Commonly Sells: Only has skill scrolls. |
There's a few in the Graal 2002 Information fourm but I doubt it has everything in it.
