Idea for a new job
It would be both a bomy and human job.
There should be these mines, and to enter you'd have to pay a certain amount of gralat for a set amount of time. (20g=5 minutes, 30g=10 minutes, etc) In the mines, you can dig, and occasionaly you dig up stuff. There would be fossils and other things that you only sell to an npc at entrance to mines. But you could also dig up iron, gold, durbies, diamonds, crafted or non. You could keep these or sell them to the npc. There would be different types of fossils with different values for example, a T-rex skull worth 100g (very rare) or a Triceratops tooth (10g) Prices/value of stuff could vary of course. I'm just using those numbers as examples. |
nice ;-)

How exactly would the job work?
What would the process of digging up the fossils? Bashing D? |

use a shovel, if you're a human, or use bomy spin if you're a bomy. There's no reason to come up with a whole new complex way to dig. |

Just simple button pressing which is what people are complaining about on the server. |

Big shovel, small shovel, brush.
You can dig it all up with the big shovel, and it'll be quick, but it'll damage the fossil. Small shovel's slower, but less damage Brush is slowest, but least damage. |
sounds cool

Shovel - less buttion pushing; more damage
Small Shovel - A bit more buttion pushing; a bit more damage Brush - Alot of buttion pushing; less damage. Mabey alot of tasks but using different tools... Dig with shovel till you find the fossel, use small shovel to get big chunks of dirt away from fossel, then use the brush to identify it. You bring it to a shop, water it down, then use the brush again to clean away the remaining dirt. |
isnt that what tyhm just said??
