How to balance the kingdoms

This is a suggestion... so dont say anything about "This should be in Kingdoms".

Ok this is how I think it should work...

Lets look at the real world. Italy is a very small country (in comparison to America)... not alot of need for money or food and such. But now look at China... overpopulated, undergrossed, and underdeveloped. Because of their massive size they have economical and political 'depressons'. So why not have this in Graal?

Like Forest has like 6 people... Dustari has 60 something... so the larger nations should have a crippling effect on their economics and such X_x

_0AfTeRsHoCk0_ 10-02-2002 03:50 AM

So that means you're punishing the larger countries even though they have potential to become great superpowers?

The reason why China is so underdeveloped is because of that Mao Tsu Tang guy who created those silly cultural revolutions (basically trying to destory technology)

BlKnight 10-02-2002 04:11 AM

Aftershock (Charles) I know it's unfair in a sense that simply because people like Dustari and want to be in it, it is dlsiked by those who don't. But it is even more unfair in a more practical sense that to all non-dustarians the game will suck. And I am sure that your 100 person kingdom won't be too entertained with always smashing the 5 person resistance.

I am not offering any suggestions to change it, simply saying something needs to be changed.

Zurkiba 10-02-2002 05:53 AM

Nah.. I'm just saying that Overpopulation leads to problems.

But you see... what's the point of RPing if there is only one single kingdom... Dustari? We might as well join all join Dustari since there is no point in having another kingdom. Sure Dustari could be a Super power... it allready is, When we try to recruit all you see is Dustarians and new people with weird names which probally shows they cant RP.

You see I started in Dustari... and I'd love to see it grow. It's just that I love RPing on Graal. And you cant really RP on a server when you're outnumbered 20:1.... Right now Dustarians are just complete idiots running around going "wts u tlking bout?" "u ****" etc. They are starting to become big headed...

Like the other day I saw a Bakugun trying to sell a transport ship to Dustari. The price was 200 plat, I heard both parties agree. When the boat docked... many Dustarians loaded on the boat and the Dustarian Party of the deal said this exactly "No u will give us the boat or die". From there I sent a PM to Aftershock stating what has happened with that trade and I attempted to run the Dustarians off.

lel all the kingdoms will join together and beat up dustari like on g2k1

AlexH 10-02-2002 06:34 AM

It's simple.
Dustari will need more resources to feed and equip all its members whereas Forest won't need nearly as much.
Although Dustari will be able to make them more quickly they will need much more.
Forest will make them slower but need to where near as much.
It balances itself out somewhat nicely.

MilkyWay0016 10-02-2002 07:32 AM

I think stefan already made some sort of plan, and I don't think Dustari will keep recruiting until we have like 700 people. It'll even out in the end.

_0AfTeRsHoCk0_ 10-02-2002 08:01 AM

Next time someone posts something about how dustari is ****ish or anything untrue, I will post an equally humiliating and stupid thing that another kingdom did, and believe me I have a LOT. Just because you guys are extremely shorthanded doen't mean you have to reach for mud and sling it at the kingdom.

By the way, in case you didn't realize, Bakugun and Dustari aren't on the best of terms, okay?

I can't help it if people like Dustari and want to join it, I'm sorry the kingdom is cursed that way.

IlyaDraven 10-02-2002 08:08 AM

i dunt get the whole point of that....

but i had to take the test, and it wasnt easy, the king told me o write and OOC sentence instead of and IC sentence and he said it was wrong. we both got confused. But i love Dustari. Im not sure how many people we have, but they cant fit into the post office.;)

*remembers what happened to dustari in the last few months of 2k1's popularity* dustari has a ton of footsoldiers and not very many skilled warriors. out of 90 their best is jourdan and ed.. if the other kingdoms ally up to keep them reasonable it can happen.

Why does everyone forget me... I'm lv10 with magic (low level, just started) piety and 2 RoF... why forget me... all the time...

Kaimetsu 10-03-2002 12:43 AM

Kaimetsu's idea

Crovax_Dark_Lord 10-03-2002 01:43 AM

Good idea, I like it... um *stuggles to find something to say so this won't be classed as spam* uh... it would go well with horses and carts, for transport to kingdoms, or cargo ships... that pirates can raid for the goods, when at war.

_0AfTeRsHoCk0_ 10-03-2002 03:45 AM

Ed, Jourdan, Anu, Hurumi, Crovax, Daillon, Horize to name a few are all strong fighters, and that's just off the top off of my head.

I believe you've met your match.

By the way, Dustari doesn't want to start a war, Bakugun did.

I've been noticed! Yay! Time to start training to beat ed...

ShadowStrike2k1 10-03-2002 05:55 PM

So your saying we should start a cultural revolution and burn down our buildings while throwing people out if windows? COOL!

Same could be said for them, there is a member in Bakugun who has got pretty good of "scamming" kingdom members. I was scammed myself, however I was foolish to trade with him because I had a feeling I knew that guy from a report by a Forest dude, said that he scams. On either sides, there will be villans/jerks :\

TerrorBite 10-04-2002 02:13 PM

Hmmm however it does make things interesting when all the players aren't evenly matched, very interesting ^.^ Since Dustari is so large, this will make keep the ball on the lesser sized kingdoms in terms of training, collecting supplies, and diplomacy ^.^ I almost can't wait until things get underway...
