Ok ok heres a problem which pissing me off and not allowing me to play all me games

Ever since i got my new cpu(and new motherboard) I've been having a problem when ever i do anything on my computer once in a while (or when i start to play a game) my computer locksup or goes brain dead (i dont have keyboard functions, mouse, everything doesnt work) and when i restart it it works find untill i start a game or really do anything I try to play Tribes2 (just a few mins ago) and it locksup 2 seconds after the program starts running

When i tryed a no-sound play it works sort of fine but still locksup on and off but when i got sound it lockups more than without sound

I've reinstalled, formatted, returned the board and got a new one(same brand) WHAT CAN I DO???

my dad even bought memory to see if that fixed it no luck =/


anybody think they know what the problem is and how to fix it?

so i guess nobody knows the problem?

Maybe its the fan? Faulty connections?

I have no clue...

dont think so my dad knows how to put these things together and the fan is rather new theres no problems with MSDos =)

It might be your Video card...

video card is voodoo5 but i never had that problem with my other board

Video Card or Overheating

Try running the computer in a room that's about 16 degrees celsius.

MAYBE VERMAIN DISABLED UR FANS LIEK HE SAID LEL

That sounds similar to the problem on my harddrive. For some reason my computer would shut off by itself at a random time. Later I noticed the only time it doesn't do it is if I'm runninga DirectX game, so I always let Graal1.28 run in my task bar so it never shutdown like that again. And now that I'm getting a new harddrive, it might be fixed. But I still have no idea why, exactly, it does that.

Try reinstalling the program for the Video Card...If you have it. Or, try returning the VD5 for another VD5 (Voodoo 5)

Get a new computer.

CPU speed: 1.2 ghz Althon T-bird (best of the best)
Video Card: Voodoo5 (the future of gaming graphics here today)
RAM: 256.0 MB
Harddrives: 3 (two 2 gb hdone 25.0 gb hd)
Board Brand: FIC 1st mainboard AZIIE

I never had problems with Voodoo5 when i had my P2 266
i reinstalled everything before

these is a new computer (sort of)
and computers cost alot of money wanna buy me one?
