2D Providence
 

I've made a decision to make Providence 2D. I wanna do something different than the Zelda feel, and Graal is capable of making a platform game, so I'm going to redo the Providence overworld.. It'll be great! :)

But how ur gonna play it online?
Does players have to jump other player to get to the other end of the map?

Yes. Why?
because the Zelda feel gets boring in graal (Zelda 3's feel never gets boring!).
So why not take a different approach? NPC's would be easier to script, and it'd be fun!.. I've completed my very own gravity script equipped with some minor Tyhm script :)

I can already see the comments, "Providence, the Castlevania of Graal."

Hee hee hee, that could be an interesting map...

Clouds, floating continent, town/castle/water, basement/underwater, caves, dwarf world....it'd probably be a lot wider than tall...still, could be good. Need a good shovel to dig down and good boots to jump up...

Why not use your regular flat levels as intermediary levels so they don't go to waste? You know, to connect the 2d levels, because an entirely 2d map is difficult to navigate.

I can't help but feel that there'd be problems, but as yet I can't figure out what they'd be. The scripting is gonna have to be pretty well polished.

I had Vikings for the amiga 500+
I also completed Vikings 2 for the playstation :)
Where you have 3 people and switch between them
Vikings 1 - Person with shield, Mr. Concusiion from headbutting things and bowman person.
get abducted (cant remember how)
Vikings 2 - them 3 and 2 other people i think

I wasn't trying to make it after Quest for Glory totally, just incorpirate tiny things. Hey, an online CastleVania like world would kick ass.
