Closing/Deleting threads
 

Every interesting thread is getting deleted/closed :(

I don't get it. Threads without any rules broken in them get deleted/closed. Closing a thread should be used in a situation like.... If there is a long thread, and some *****s come on and start cursing and starting arguments in that thread, they should close the thread, and delete the bad posts so no arguments continue and nothing on there is bad. Deleting a thread should be used when someone posts something like "aiwjfio" as a thread. Shady's threads were about something, and should not have been deleted.

Yes I read it. That is what made me make this thread. There was NO bad content in them.

I think it was deleted. This power corruption has gone WAY too far.

Listen. If you don't like the policies, then I suggest taking it up with an admin or just plain leaving. I'm not saying you should, I'm just saying that whining is never going to get anyone anywhere, ever. They're the moderators, we're the posters. The posters abide by a couple of set rules and are then restricted to them.

I will ask Trueheat to set out a list of rules, since he is an administrator to the boards, and that's the best we can do. And EVERYONE (Including Moderators/Administrators) will follow those rules. If you feel game is corrupted or biased, then take it up with Trueheat/Hawk. We're going in a circle, and it's gonna continue like that until you think up something like the list of rules.

Telling us won't help. Like I said, we're the posters. We can't do jack crap.

In the thread I posted about Shady, a poll to see if he was wanted back, it was automatically deleted. I think Gameo read it and trashed it. There was no harrasment or rude,derogetory, or offensive comments. It was an opinion post and it was automatically deleted. I'm guessing because it was about Shady. This was uncalled for. He is a person, despite what he has done, and he deserves some repsect. I'm actually suprised, Gameo, your always going on about fairness, non corruption, and all that jazz, when infact you are quite bias.

Then what happened to it? It didn't magically disappear, and it seemed to be gone as soon as I posted it.

I was asking an opinion. How do you know if it was? You didn't give anyone a chance to respond... =/

when a player is banned you don't make a poll to unban them

It's sad that the board has come to this. A once great board, has turned into a closely censored board, that half the posts are complaints about the moderation/administration.

I don't see why the moderators/admins have to delete/close so many of our discussions. This is a message board, the reason we come to it, is to see the opinions of other people, and post opinions of our own.
