when a showimg has an imgvis of 4, does the index act as a y order?
like 411 is black, and 412 is white will the white text show over the black?

no, y-order is for everything. Based on its position over the image, it will determine which will show.. However putting one on layer 4 and one on layer 5 will solve your problems.

In changeimgvis you can go over 4, you can go as high as you want. I think that helps.

There is no limit to it. I don't know about 1,2,3 and such, but I know that 4 converts to pixels and such and it goes higher than that. I haven't found a use for anything above 5 yet, but then I do more systems and such than Graphical stuff.

well you could layer things.
such as a status window, and as layer 4 and put your weapon image as layer 5? mebbe :P

You could do it that way, I just usually don't have overlapping items :P
