There should be a program that could find someone on graal, Like you would type in their account name, then it would search and if they were on it would show their account name and nickname and what server they are on, it would be very useful.:D

Torankusu 09-17-2002 10:27 AM

yeah...........
quick hax rock

RichKevin 09-17-2002 10:33 AM

Thats a great idea, id love that

CheeToS2 09-17-2002 05:11 PM

had that suggestion before, like a button in the serverlist or something.

DragonX2 09-18-2002 02:25 AM

I could imagine everyone typing in Stefan2 or unixmad and then going on the server they are on asking for a job or Ibonic or Nemesis, or the council, etc. etc.

RichKevin 09-21-2002 06:30 AM

then make it so u cant find them =O only normal players and lower staffs

Nemesis and Ibonic were fired.

Ibonic quit he wasn't fired and I know Nem was fired :\
I typed that '09-17-2002' and they were still staff at the time.

2 questions:
1) Does anyone know WHY ibonic quit? x.x
2) Why was Nem fired?

1) He claims to be mentally unstable, but he just couldn't handle it.
2) He complained about having more work and not getting paid and unixmad couldn't take it.

You don't know enough about me to make that assumption. I was actually becoming very bored with the "responsibilites" that I was given.

Googi 09-21-2002 09:50 AM

Then why'd you become a GM in the first place?

That's a good question.

Would you or anyone else that plays Graal reject the chance though?

Uhh...yeah. Cause GMs have to do actual work XD

Before anyone else notes on this: No, I didn't figure in the things that I was supposed to yet wasn't given the chance to do (such as web site administration etc.), so I possibly exaggerated that previous statement.

I also don't know why I quoted responsibilities.

I feel as if people are going to think that I'm <insert insulting word(s)> now.

Uhh..no, I'm not playing Graal so I can do work.

Let's see how many times we can contradict each other before someone gets mad! :)

Perhaps I should rephrase that...

Why would someone want to be a GM?

Aestus 09-21-2002 10:06 AM

I can say with a straight face that I would never accept a GM position on Graal. And if I did, it would only be for an hour or two of super-corruptness in which I give myself 500,000 experience and all the best armor and weapons on 2k2. Kind of like what Koni did. Does.

Oh please, you said in another post that you are mentally unstable.

Because a good portion of Graal players are power-hungry, immature, little kids?
I swear I've heard a question like this before...

Yeah, but, you can't abuse the power, cause then you'd lose it, so becoming a GM cause you're power hungry is kinda strange.

Oh yeah, and I'm immature, but I don't want to be a GM.

I don't know. But a lot of players were starting to act "friendly" towards me while I was one for about a week, which I didn't enjoy much. Others now dislike me, but I don't understand why since I hadn't even made a single "important" decision relating to Graal. I don't like how some people judge others depending on their occupation/status etc.

I never denied that. But you're telling people that I quit for a reason (besides "mentally unstable", which also wasn't my reason for quitting) that isn't true.

I wanted to be a game coordinator on Graal Classic for self-entertainment, but they rejected me because I was on the GP team at the time (although I don't know if I would've been accepted otherwise).

Become a 2K1 FAQ.

To many FAQs are leaving FAQ and becoming cops :(

I don't know enough about Graal2001. Although I was forced to learn quite a bit within a short amount of time so that I could give a report to unixmad about the current state of it, which I never finished because of my <insert word relating to "quitting">.

Maybe I could still send it to him if he wants it.

(why do I keep quoting myself?)

Heh, that's to bad, cause Kamuii's got 2K1 pretty messed up.

Well, now that Ibonic is gone, Konidias is going to hire someone else to manage 2k1 and hopefully "fix" it's current state.
