Serverlist changes
 

Some of us might use different nicks on different worlds, so why not add a "nickname" field to the serverlist for easier changing.

Also on worlds that are supposed to have an NPCserver it would be great if the playerlist showed whether or not the server is working at the moment. *coughcough 2002 coughcough*

I don't see that as a necessary improvement. The NPC Server wouldn't be able to TELL YOU that it is down anyway! =/

when yer in the serverlist just hit F8 and change your name.

chat command: "setnick nickname".
That is enough, and that is already existing.
I'd like to have an option in the server list to check who is online on which player world before connecting to it. Like a button "Show players" which will open a player list. All you can do in this playerlist is opening the profiles. You cannot chat until you are logged on.
This way you could check whether there are Game Coordinators or some buddies of you online without having to wait until you are logged in.

#1, I never said it was necessary, is this forum only for life-or-death matters?

oh, and

#3, People do get tired of logging on to 2k2 when the server's down... I don't know if you play much or not but some people get nicely screwed up logging on at bad times. There, that's a good reason, right?
