Harassment?
 

It's come to my attention on why Graal is mainly males...
First lets start off on the female's foot

You just started Graal and you just got a p2p account
You go to the server called Graal 2002
You start up and you find about three males around you going *touches breasts*

Now how would you feel if you were a female and someone did that to you? You'd most likly want to quit. So that's what most do.

The people who do things such as this are immature and simpleminded... they are like "Boobies... You said Boobies... HA HA HA". They think it is 'cool' to do this.

I witnessed this today with a few unnamed people... a new female just joined and they sexually harassed her cyberly. I told them to get the **** away... they asked why... so I explained to them...
"It's like someone going up to you and telling you that you're privates are tiny" etc. I saw one person apolize for this inncodent but the other just started to insult me.

Those are the simple minded people who we need an increase of security on 2k2. Stefan and Unixmad work hard to gain support on Graal and to get funds... their hard work is getting shitted on by the simple minded who run around harassing females.

This really pisses me off... since I believe in equal opertunities. When I see a female harassed... I always jump in to protect that girl/woman.

I was banned from walking on a building, which didn't do much to the Graal business.

So why aint these people who go around sexually harassing the females banned? They are causing more effect then I have. They are running good paying costumers off... never to play Graal again. These people are commiting crimes which are probally in every nation and harming the Graal Business.



And this is a warning to anyone reading this... if I see you harassing a female... I will take a screenshot and I will turn you in. I dont care who you are or what you do. And if you are racist or discrimiating against another religion/race/culture/what ever... I will do the same. I'm plain sick of you people who run around and go "hey ***** you're boobs are big", "Hey n***a", "You Jap Dog", etc.

The only Racism/Discrimination I will tolerate if it is in Kingdoms (EX:"You dirty pirates", "You Samurai Dogs", "You walking Sushi", "You stupid Dustarians", etc.) since that is apart of roleplaying.


So kthxbai dont do that **** around me or any of my friends.

People who do that are most likely:

a)retarded
b)people who have no lives
c) people that can't get girls the real way.

Pay no attention to them.

Kind of hard when they are running people off. I've set my mind and I'm going to start defending against these a) retards b)people without lives and c) people who cant get a date because they are screwing Graal up.

How is that equal? You're making the female population FAR LESS equal, by "protecting" them. People harass me all the time but I don't have girls running up to protect me. You're making them look like victims, when in reality, it happens to everyone, males included.

Yes... You're making the girl feel INFERIOR. She can take care of her damned self. You don't need to "protect" her. That isn't "equal".

Zurkiba's right on this one .. look, it is different when guys are harassed. Do people go around chasing you going *grabs crotch* or something? Eh? Probably not. I've RPed as a female (so shoot me), and I remember once walking out of the store near unstick and the first thing I hear is "*******!". Do you walk out of the store and here sexually degrading terms thrown at you? No! This isn't an equal situation. Something ought to be done to stop these people. Uhh .. I guess that's all I've to say, then. :(

This is a game, not like in real lfie where a girl is being follwoed by several males and needs to be protected and the gusy beaten up. And the girl is powerless because of physical limitations.

We know this is a game... and people are going around BOOBIES! and such.

Females can protect themselves... but not when they are trying to run away and the males can outrun them and they dont really do anything.

I have lots of female friends and I guarantee every one of them would be offended more by some guy being their "knight in shining armor" then by some guy yelling "*******!".

For one, the girl can do just as much as you can about the situation, you're not any better then her with handling the problem, and this is exactly why it's more sexist to act as if you're stronger then she is and you know how to handle the problem better.

She can just as easily contact an admin and tell them people are harassing her. You running up and saying "omg stop u guyz!%!" and swinging your sword isn't really doing much but embarassing her and degrading her.

If they don't contact an admin there are onyl a limited number of reasons.

2) I do it with PM... not on Graal Text

And I live in a region where females are victims to stuff like this... and the better minded people shove off the simple minded.

And I dont jump in if I see them protecting themselves and/or enjoying it. But if she is just surrounded by these harassers, telling them to go away, I tell them to bug off.

Yes but Zur....can't she do that herself? In fact what could you do that she can't do the same to protect herself? She could tell them to bug off (like I said this is a game not real life where a lvl 1 female screams and they dont care but a level 6 super strong male says bug off and they scat).

Think about it, if someone (doesn't matter gender) runs up to you and says *grabs ****** what are you options? a)keep going and try to ignore them b)tell them to stop yourself c)tell staff d)report to Er1c or Stefan.

Well i'll tell you what, those same options are there for her, if she doens't use them than she's weird.

Somewhat what I've been trying to say :D... but if you did that then people would find a way to say the words

like if boobs was banned then people would use words such as
B oobs, b o o bs, bo obs, etc. So you cant really do that with ease :/.

Arwen doesn't feel like logging onto her own account, so shes posting on her brothers. k? Stop aruging on wether or not you should 'rescue' the girl. I mean, don't be like I'LL PROTECT YOU. But if your doing like Zurkiba and get on her side then I don't see why we would mind. If someone is harrassing you, its kinda hard to yell 'oh ya well your **** is small' back at them. But I mean, if just 1 more person comes up and it like 'Hey man whats your problem' it helps. But I agree, I don't see like any other female players on graal becuase we're treated like crap most of the time, like all we want to do is sell ourselves :(

I will be GM for 2k2 soon, and I will make sure that the rules are enforced well.

Posts in this thread alone are breaking like a dozen rules. This thread needs to be deleted, as the problem is being handled.

This is constructive criticism, not arguing. Eventually they would have come to a consensus and it would have been all sorted out. But if "boss" wants the thread closed, then so be it
