New Strings
There should be strings that can ONLY be changed by high admins or by NPC's. Like for some of the things I'm making, they should not be changed by staff just playing around, because then it screws it all up. Like clienth.string or clientu.string something like that

Well.. just dont give them access to it.... Anyway these "strings" are the server options. To put something like client.blabla, how does it know if you're an admin and changed it? Anyone can put the name in the script

Solutions:
1.) Tell them that if they edit it, they get fired 2.) dont be lazy and actually search the logs to see if someone edited them |
True, but you don't know WHICH ones they changed. You never know though, if someone ELSE hires someone and they change crap. I'm just saying it would be nice to have some UNEDITABLE things... even if someone was trying to be helpful and edit them and screwed them up... bad stuff =/

but it does show what you edited in the rc log
example: SaitoHajime changes (the active) SaitoHajime changed attribute status from 21 to 20 flag deleted: clientr.doll=0,1,0,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,1,1,0 ,1,0,0 flag added: clientr.doll=0,1,0,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,1,1,1 ,1,0,0 I get what your saying but I think there are much mroe useful things that should be implemented first |
yes, RC+NC logs are useful... but why would it be necessary w/ these. And yes, FAR more useful things need to put in place 1st.
