ok i was wondering if it is a must that role playing MUST leave 2k1
i mean there is still a RP admin and RP Devs, and if the 2k1 players were to re-take controle of kingdoms or maybe make new ones we could still have role playing? i know that 2k1 is going to be turned into something liek classic but why can't it be liek classic but with role playing? i mean if it goes like classic without role playing it will turn into that *** stuff with omg my name is SSJ Geno and i am married to Kae and my son is Sparkplug and Neonight is my baby daddys momma and ect..ect.....i am just wondering because i think role playing would be fun, everyone that is on 2k1 seems to want it also, i just thought i would put this up for disscussion

Its hard to RP on Graal2001.

Roleplaying is currently an up-in-the-air subject right now, currently Rabid and I are leaning towards an abolishment but I'm thinking of opening a poll for opinions and thoughts on what should be done.

What would an abolishment bring? Deletion of all RP lands?

Essentially, the server would go private for a short period of time, a new overworld would be generated, sans kingdom zones, and we'd develop new things prior to going public again.

2K1 shouldn't be like classic, it should be economy based.

We have classic, we don't need another classic...

Also 2k1 can RP some kind of end of world, and then make new kingdoms, it'll be fresh and new, or make like small tribes, not kingdoms, but tribes, and tribes duke it out throughout the world x.X

blarg well there is a average of 30-40 players on 2k1 during taht day and that would be enough for role playing, and i think it i s a good RP envronment, you just have to teach the dumb people and everything will be ok :(, blarg but whatever i dunno :O

I don't particularly want RPing on 2k1 because it's not a server built for RPing; putting it there would not only be frustrating for the staff and I but it'd place 2001 in the shadow of 2002; I don't want that at all, I want something that can stand out and shine.


Oh, and Damix, the overworld would look exactly the same, just minus kingdoms.

A new overworld would be good, I think what would be even better is making a WHOLE new overwolrd just with same towns but made differently and updated, New towns would be a plus too. If you need help with levels just ask me ;)

We'd need either lots of time to do that, or 10 LATs. We lack in the time factor.

I say keep roleplaying on Graal2001. There are many modem users, and Graal2002 is horrible to play on unless you can get on at a good time. (i.e. 4 AM)

Economy got real lame, real quick.

Which was caused by

1. Fishing Bug - Fixed
2. Farming Bug - Fixed
3. Releasing like, 50 of each hat except HUDs - Not fixed, but it could be with a reset.
4. Haxoring - If there was a reset, and the staff were smart enough to keep a closer eye on Gralats this time around, this could be fixed.
5. Corrupt staff who give 56K to themselves - Unfortunatly, there will always be people who shouldn't be staff, but are, and also unfortunatly, they always seem to be in the manager position...

4 out of 5 things that screw the economy over have been fixed/can be fixed easily.

We already have a classic.

We don't have an economy based server.

2 successful RP servers (Graal2002, Valikoria)

4 successful PK (AKA, Classic servers) (Classic (duh), Unholy Nation, Delteria, N-Pulse)

0 successful Economy based servers.

0 successful RP servers.

1 successful PK server (UN)

1 successful Graal server (Classic)

0 Successful Economy servers.

All the PWs there at the moment, in my opinion, suck.

Let people RP/Have kingdoms if they want. While 2k1 may not be the optimal server for RP, you have to admit that as a whole people made it work, and it was quite fun, despite any physical limitations that may exist/have existed. Why deny future people that fun? If you do that, then I guarantee many of them will hop on the boatride to 2k2 and stay there, if nothing else then just for the RP.

Neonight:

1 Successful RP server. (Graal2002, when NPCserver isn't down. Valikorlia is horrible and has nothing original, nor anything that THEY have made on there. If I didn't know better, I'd think IcePick were the manager of it.)

Classic isn't all PK. They have some very good (and very hard) quests on there. Not to mention, it doesn't lag nearly as much as it used to.

Graal2001 is (probably) still fun. ;) I haven't been on Graal... well since I held that survivor a while back.

I don't like UN, but I think it's probably what Elven Lands was like back in the time of EL.

I don't really know if economy should rule a server. Sure, you'd wanna keep "hackers" away, along with staff who give out money. Other than that, I don't know if spending 100g on a hat with barely any money on it, or spending 5,000g on a hat with lots and lots of money even has a difference.

Valikoria is still successful, in that it has an average size playerbase.

like i always said, 2k1 is made up of 3 things:

players

economy

roleplaying

ig one breaks, another breaks, which causes a chain reaction crack on the next, the players broke, which broke roleplaying, then cracked economy, if we save the economy, we will save the players, and with players comes more roleplaying, comes the great server we once knew as Graal2001, and the only way to save it is to either eset the economy, hats, and bomies, or, just go with my plan, and urge all players to not buy expensive bomeis over 5k, or sell any bomies over 5k, then we will be doing good.

any soul who argues with this statement is a FOOL and should be banished from this discussion.

Let them buy for over 5k, and delete the gralat that would have been traded which was over 5k :)
