What ever happened to the part where we were supposed to be able to have space somewhere to actually put files and test levels or something? Does anyone ELSE remember reading this when the new p2p policy was announced?? WTF is going on, and please deliver the promised service :'(

I don't remember that, but the admins do have an online testing grounds on a seperate server... dunno if that's what it's supposed to mean, but...

Yes, I do remember Unixmad, or the anoucement saying, that we will be able to have small servers or soemthing, a server, something wehre we can upload, or play a 4 person server, I duno.

THANK YOU! I was afraid I was hallucinating or something! I have NPC Server to play w/ in a *cough* couple of places, he he. So I don't worry much about it, but there are things that I would like to see followed through w/ =P I thought it said classic would host it or something, I don't quite rememeber 100%, but I know that is part of what I payed for :'(

I translated that document. I was careful to phrase that it was PLANNED, but no definitive release date was given because it's turning out to be a MAJOR hassle, apparently.

Yes it is planned. The voice chat thing was in the same plan list but was easier to implement. We still plan to make that personal playerworld thing possible, but we have a lot of other work with Graal2002 and Graal in general.

LOL, that is crazy talk! Stefan: will I still be able to get on this personal PW thing even though my p2p has now run out of time w/ gold?? On a side note, please read my PM, as I would like to help out a LOT with 2k2 as far as scripting goes. Give me a chance to show you, I am QUITE good and have many skills, and YES, I know the NPC Server very well (not as well as you, but you progg'ed it :P) I promise I can do a GREAT job, and I am tired of working on PW after PW, I got an offer from like 3 or 4 servers the other day. Rudora (spelling?) says they're about to go back up, and want me to be NPC Admin, SL wants to hire me as Dev, I'm on Maloria (not sure if I like, and would quit in a heartbeat for 2k1 or 2k2), and Cynical (just passed review), wants me to be NPC Admin or something. Read PM though PLEASE :D

you have an EXTREMELLY ****y attitude and an overly large opinion on yourself, do you see kaimetsu bragging at every single oppertunity? no, and he makes you look like you're NOTHING
and btw: if you didnt know scripting is obsolete on 2k2, angel told me everything but like 2 npcs is in mudlibs which is pure C script

x.X Jagen, you don't get it do you? I am trying to get his attention and give him some info, I want to do this so badly. I would like to know how you would quite incorporate everything like that x.X I am not quite "bragging" so to speak, I am wanting this very badly. And I don't see how you couldn't just script things in Graal that are equivalent for the most parts... so don't judge x.X

a lot of people would want a job on 2k2, that doesnt mean everyone will get it, and you must have a very different definition of bragging

I have no opinion on myself, as my opinion wont get me anywhere, I let people have there own opinions on me, it's up to them if they decide if I can script good or not, I don't go around saying I am extremelly good, if I want to be staff somewhere, I wait for a chance to tryout and I send in my work, I don't tell the manager/owner/whatever my skills and where I have been staff

LOL, it is confidence in my skills, he he. I don't quite have an OPINION of myself created by myself, but more of what people tell me. I know everyone wants a spot on 2k2, but you have to admit, I do know my stuff... Jagen: read new thread in NPC Scripting...
