Marketplace!!!

Lets have a marketplace like 2k1
You know what I think would be really neat, is to make a Marketplace, similar to 2k1, and have stands and rent the stands and then people can pay by plats, or even silver or gold coins depending on what the person selling would perfer. I think this would be a great idea because you can make alot more money for the sellers and its also nice for the buyers because they can get what they need right there instead of going all over across the island.

BlKnight 08-27-2002 10:29 PM

OMG THATS SUCH AN ORIGINAL IDEA THAT NEVER BEEN THOUGHT OF! Damnit don't post stupid suggestions like this like that guy who posted that Graal should have bows and arrows as his "idea".

DragonX2 08-27-2002 10:31 PM

If there is a marketplace it better be anti-scam (it probably will be).

Uifz 08-27-2002 10:49 PM

If its such a oringal idea, then WHY DONT THEY HAVE A MARKETPLACE YET??? HUH??? Or why hasnt anyone metion yet, ya nice thinking their, kid.:megaeek:

If you've seen pics of old old 2k2 you would of seen market stands..right now kingdoms is the first priority after kingdoms everything should be finished sooner (hopefully).

Uifz 08-27-2002 11:04 PM

When the old 2k2 came out, i dont remeber any Marketstands. Remeber the old 2k2 was so small, it only had 1 island, no main island and there wasnt much to do. And also the Q list was alot different wiht the bag, I still remeber what i looked like, I like this setup better but I have a problem "Weilding" and "Unwelding" my items. But by the time 2k2 is done alpha, 2k3 should come out ;)

BlKnight 08-27-2002 11:59 PM

First of all kid, original means new, not ordinary. I was being sarcastic, meaning I was impplying your idea was not original, which is BAD. Second, market places are just something that are obviously going to be there, you want to know why nobody ever mentioned it? Because nobody is stupid enough to think that the staff didn't already think of it.

Third of all, I was right, you were wrong BUT even if I was the one who posted something stupid, you don't call me a kid when I try to point out your errors. You point out mine.

There's probably not going to be a Graal 2k3...
Graal 2k2 is just a name. It doesn't mean it'll just work for a year and then they make a new server...

Okay first of all, it's "original" not "orignial". Secondly, original means first of it's kind. Meaning NEW. I don't know where the heck you were taught, but I don't think dropping out of school and watching TV all day can be considered an education.

edit: By the way, I was on 2k2 development staff before 2k2 was even out. Yes there was already market stand graphics done, and markets planned.

Uifz -- Look. Listen. Learn. We know we are right. You know we are right. The only point to this thread is to explain to you how you are wrong. Understand? No? Too bad.

BlKnight 08-28-2002 02:10 AM

If I were you I would just delete this thread now and remove any urge to call me or anyone else on this board stupid or an idiot and making yourself looking even worse.

'S what I'm sayin'.

Idiots you do not understand, I was refferring to ORIGINAL as OLD, example" That is an original idea, meaning that as in Original i was reffering to that is an old idea because it has been use. 1 : of, relating to, or constituting an origin or beginning : INITIAL <the original part of the house> I was reffering to original has that idea being considred "Old" because it was used several months before mine, got it? and Sh dont talk little kids im all older then all u.

1) That only works if you're referring to THE original idea rather than AN original idea. THE original idea is usually old, but AN original idea is new. THE original clock is decades old but for AN original clock to exist in modern times, it has to be new and innovative. You were talking about a marketplace as AN original idea, so that implies newness.

2) Even if you are physically older than us (which seems very unlikely given your lack of any kind of maturity) you have the mental age of a six year old.

3) If you ever decide to make a post preaching about use of the English language, I advise that you take the time to write clearly with punctuation and good diction so that you do not ultimately sound like a complete idiot.

Age has nothing to do with intelligence. As clearly proven through each idiotic post you make. I could care less if you were 12, or 32. You're still a complete *****. So...

1. Learn how to spell and use correct grammar.
2. Insulting someone because of how old they are is like insulting someone because of their skin color. You might as well be racist.
3. You and your breed of idiocy is what makes Graal unattractive.

I'm a freshman and I score 12th grade on my tests -_-

Yall both are idiots anyway, and Uifz... I bet when 2k2 came out you just started... since you seem to take pride in remembering when it first came out.

BlKnight 08-28-2002 09:05 AM

Zurkiba, where the **** do you get off calling me an idiot? Since I am the one who correcxted him and controlled myself while started babling foolishness. You are on of those people who think you are cool by insulting others? Especially without any reason. That's as stupid as me coming out of nowhere and calling Kaimetsu an idiot.

He's an idiot because you corrected him
So you're an idiot because he corrected you

So by your terms... you're both idiots. Not to mention you had horrible scamming tactics on 2k1 :/...

I'll admit it... I'm an idiot. I'm a stupid idiot... I dont know what I've got myself into untill people tell me...

But Blknight you do make more sense then the other person :/... so you're not such of the idiot of me or him.

BlKnight 08-28-2002 09:32 AM

I was a good scammer on 2k1. I made original ways of getting cash.

By the way, I didn't call you an idiot did I? No. And he "corrected" me but it doesn't count if his "correction" is wrong and mine is right. Let's drop this now ok?

konidias 08-28-2002 06:15 PM

I've heard "stupid idiot" twice in this topic. You guys *do* realise that "stupid idiot" is a double negative, which in turn means you're smart.

BlKnight 08-28-2002 09:17 PM

I don't think so. Poor idiot was mean smart. As in "you make a poor idiot". I don't knwo how you fiquared it out, maybe it does do that if you use strict grammatic rules. But to me stupid idiot seems about right, after all is there any other kind?

Even if those two words don't make sense, it's just a insult people use. just like calling someone a "***got". Sometimes it is used to insult someone and it is taken seriously because of the common thought that being homosexual is disgusting and wrong (personally for religious reasons I agree, but lets not start a religious discussion). But other times people just call people "***got" as an insult which has nothing to do with the meaning.

That's not a double negative, that's just two adjectives that mean the same thing. It's just being repeatating itself, not canceling...

Calling someone bright and intelligent wouldn't make them stupid, would it?

A Positive and a Positive make a Positive...

1st grade math :D

Bleh, I'm just saying adjectives aren't affected by the "double-negative" rule...

Besides, a negative added to a negative make a negative in math also...

Kaimetsu 08-29-2002 02:39 AM

'Stupid' and 'idiot' aren't negatives. They're just terms for evaluating intelligence. Things like 'not' and 'un' and 'anti' are negatives.

Yes. They might have negative connotations, but grammatically, they are not.

I always find it amusing when people try to correct others' English despite being just as the wrong grammatically as the person they were supposedly correcting.
