Melee Defense
 

I think this is a very bad Idea of the physical resistances I dont see why armor makes you some how evade attacks... and if someoens armor gets to 100 your doomed to kill the person... there should be a Skill that all melees have : Melee Defense: As you level up you skill gos higher, AND since its like bad PvP a lvl 1 can kill a lvl 6 iif theyre melle defense is high it will be HARD to kil la higher level =) very annoying when a little newbie kills you when your high level and including the MASSIVE EXP loss it ticks me off

When you die you lose 1/5 of your EXP..
If you die by a monster he gains a bit of your EXP so just go back and kill that monster for your EXP back (or a bit/most of it anyway)..
Or just don't die :-P
I've never had a little newbie kill me O_o
Also just say /peaceful if people are attacking you and you don't want to fight..

No it isnt cool though, If you wanna fight a little newbie lvl 2 or so, your chances of winning might be high or low, hp isnt a big thing .Melee defense will be much better because a little newb owning a lvl 7, both wearing chainmail.. armor some how makes you evade attacks.. we REAALY need melee defense to make this game better in PvP

What do you think armor is supposed to do? Physical resistance is just Armor Value, or Physical Protection, or Defense Value, or whatever your other games want to call it. It's not evading the attacks, it's being less harmed by attacks. Same as any other game.

The maximum resistance to anything is 95 I believe.

when do little noobs kill anyone??? this noob hit me like 10 times in the mines while i was typing and one swing from me killed him, they dont stand a chance so what are you talking about?

First of all, don't use the term "n00bs" or otherwise I will start calling people "newbies" and I have the right to do so to almost every singel person on this board. Second, don't you think he didn't kill you because of his stats? Not how much time he has played the game.

Finnaly this is just a idea by a person who has alot of time to play the game but little skill and is afriad that newbies who are skilled will kill him. I mean look at what he is saying about a little noob killing a lvl 7 player being wrong. What is wrong with that? It just means the "newbie" is skilled. Let's just make a rule that it is illegal and bannable for a newbie to win a fight with a higher level palyer while we are at it.

Skill is still and should be a important part of Graal.

I've been around since they changed the name from ZO to Graal.

Anyway, it's not that a newbie shouldn't kill a higher level person, it's that there isn't enough advantages to leveling yet. Besides perhaps some HP (overall level), one point for WC (Physique level), some SP (Magic Level), or some Grace (Wisdom Level), nothing else changes.

Stefan, just give the dogs a bone and let them gain a primary stat point or two every few levels.

Why should you become all powerful when you level? I like it this way. People can't become all super powerful by spending massive time on Graal killing instead of rping.

And basicly what he is argueing is that being high level doesn't make you invincible. That it's still possible for a lwoer level person to kill you. Which is about right.

if we dont get it PvP will suck for all of graal2002 the physical armor resistance sucks , shouldn't melees have it? Its what THEY are of course they can evade attacks... if we get it then PvP will be fair, even if you have melee the noobie can STILL kill you if ur like AfK or you let him kill you, he can hit u , melee is to evade it wont be like nonstop evasion it just once a hit and above ur head it will say EVADED! and in the log You evaded Yoga's Attack!
