No Food on Start Island! and others.

Graal 2002 shouldn't be a server to where you have to spend hours to make food to talk with friends... I'm known for standing around for days and days without moving... all I do is talk with friends. So if we could make it to where on 2k2 Start Island you dont have to eat food as your food points just stop. This will allow people to just socialise and have fun without having to work just to keep your current exp.

And also... just another suggestion.
We have skills/spells for Alchemist, Priest, and Sorcerror.
Barbarians get a free item
And I'm not sure about thieves.

But Warriors dont start with anything :( ... so why not have special sword skills for warriors? Maybe better accuracy with sword swings or something. There are five total sword actions (<,>,^,v, S) so why not have the two open (If you are facing down, or south (< and > become actions like block and an elemental sword swing.. something like that))

The third suggestion is to make seperate stores that sell scrolls only, or something like that.

Graal has a chat system... therefore making it an advanced chat room.

-------------------
And I just remembered something... we should start to get like xp for walking :) .... and it'd be awesome if in our little menu status thingy if we could have like 'Total km walked: <number>'
So lets say that the distance from Samurai to Harmonia is like 32 km (about 19.84 miles) If you walk that then on your status bar it'll say 32 km or something

Graal isn't a chat room
a Soical Adventure game maybe, but no chat room

More weapons skills would be nice

I want to use wield 2 swords, using my offhand(shield) as second sword

BlKnight 08-24-2002 10:10 AM

That would be difficult to do now with the damage system. I mean say you weild in one hand a diamond blade (+9) and in the other a fire sword (+7). that means the total damage is 16. And either sword, with a swing of only 1 sword would do 16 damage. Which is bad. Unless it's so you swing both swords at once.

Which, realistically speaking, would throw you totally off balance and leave you vulnerable.

but warriors DO get something....
while barbarians seem capable of getting the bowyer skill... they always FAIL reading the scroll
the extra boost in intelligence allows warriors to be capable of using that

Because they dont start with literacy, perhaps?

All are capable of learning that -_-

And I like Ghostie's idea :D.... Having two swords would limit hunt time and speed but you could like block with two swords, attack with one and block with one, and stuff like that.

Or maybe we could have it like Sword One attacks, Sword Two attacks, Cooldown time = 2 seconds , Repeat.

And this just came over me :(... This skill would fit Barbarian over Warrior.

Gee. What an, um...... original idea. Never heard of that one before. Um. You can't help being similar to some games when you do a MMORPG, but I think probably Graal doesn't want to start copying specific stuff like that.......

Warriors are master of the sword. Barbarians are warriors of nature (So to speak.)

Kaimetsu 08-25-2002 05:15 AM

Warriors fight with finesse, as befitting dual-wielding.
Barbarians fight with crazy strength rather than precision.
