Although I'm probably the worst level maker alive, could you rate this on a 1-10 scale, 10 being top?

well, i dont think its nearly as bad as you think, but basically, you just need practice. You have a good start, you're using the tileset, now you just hafta practice and expand your ability.

Your not as bad as you seem to think, although I'd still rate it around 4.5

the treelayout is nice.. your grass tileing needs work.. err.. 5.0

errm try using a variety of things, don't just use tiles to fill in the lvl, try adding little dirt patches, a small pond somewhere, mabye some of the swamp grass, that kinda stuff

right now i'd say 4.5/10 as well

Sorry, but i dont like the treelay out, nor the tileing... I dont like that treetop gfx sticking out over that stream thingy either.

The level isn't too bad, just keep working on it.

The grass could use moe detail, in my opinion...:)

Well, 5/10.
The Grass, like I always say, should be clumped (in Groups) and scattered all around the level. Add water/dirt patches, weeds, swamp, flowers, rocks, mushroooms, etc... :)

Okay, thanks for the advice..I'll expand on the level and show it again in a better form(hopefully).

Those new grass to grass tiles almost never look good.

They usually just make the level... look ugly.

ok, remove that retarded thing on the small tree, and lighten up with the grass, not so much :(

Ehm. ok so its like a 5 ? I think you should make like a POINT in the level , make it more interesting, it could be like a pond , a house , and old man sitting on a bench

EDIT: Im not saying every level should have a point but if youre just showing one and not like 6 then it should be more interesting
