When choosing stats....
I wish you could tell what numbers your getting in what stat
those bars don't exactly tell you much |
(Ronith)
It used to. I agree, BRING IT BACK!@ |
why were the numbers removed in the first place?
|
...
they removed it because they say that isnt "Role Playing" ... I know it is dumb... but all games have this but most dont roll I agree to bring it back!
|
"Not roleplaying?" Good lord, you must be joking.
And, I'd also like an explanation as to why we can't just distribute stat points for ourselves. This rolling business is crap. |

1 Reason: Power players |
Power Players? Excuse me what the ****?
And in terms of roleplaying wouldn;t it be mroe realistic if you got to make your character unique by distributing the points yourself to match the type of character you play (ie. a clumsy and fragile malicious dictator) than taking what the rol dishes out for you. |
!
We should have like 40 or 50 stat credits, and we use those 50 into what we want like str limit is 21 so you can use all of it inthat then dex then 1 more thing, to make a unique character
|
lvl up
I wish we could add more stats when we lvl up... sorta like Diablo...
strength Dexterity Constitution and such and such |
I liked the numbers, but I would prefer distributing the points.
|
Yves:
Why not just give players a certain amount of points, like 5 or 10 and they can increase whatever catagory they wish, and the stats they start off with without the points are issued depending on the class you choose, so if you die before getting to a bed, or want to reset, you can just get the same stats you had before. |
I agree that we should distribute the points.
Someone make a nice poll on this matter, I find everything is so much nicer when organised in a nice poll, so nice. |
When you level up (and gain a stat) you should be able to level any stat you want, however, you can only level the same stat like 3 times in a row and then you can't level it again for 3 times, so that people don't just constantly level up their strength or something until it maxes out.
|
Since the natural max of stats is 20 gaining a point a level might be a good idea. However, I like the idea that all you get by gaining levels is hp and sometimes wc. It evens out gameplay makign sure skilled fighters can still take on "dedicated" Graal players.

Meaning, the highest level you could get for any primary stat, (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Power, or Charisma) can not exceed 20 without the use of enchanted/magical items. Using rings, amulets, ect., you can raise the level of the stat as high as 30. |
