Looking for help
I heard that kingdom isles will be out this weekend, and I got a ton of work to do. Yet I can't do the work with ideas. So throw any ideas for inside levels you can in this thread, and it will be considered and possibly made into an actual level. I have 5 days make 3 towns and their outides + decorate the dustari island with trees, terrain etc. So time is precious.

Woohoo! Kingdom isles!
A bank or a free storage shed type thing. Lugging around tools can get annoying, so we'd need somwhere to store them. The regular stuff, a blacksmith, a shop, a bakery, etc... A marketplace - Sell your wares and such! Playerhouses of some kind... |

The following things have been done for Dustari.
Outside Nothing currently. I am still having "complications" wih my RC and I haven't been able to make buildings or modify/edit the terrain. Inside For the capital city Baritol: -Hotel -Bar -Restaurant -Welcome center -1 house -Library In total, there will be only 3 towns that we will have because that is the limit, but in the future more will be added. |

I tried making it so you can "read" the books but it's not working out. Perhaps later on they will add so when you use your literacy skill something pops up in the RPG window and you can read it.

Outside I finally got my RC today compliments of Stefan, and I familiarized myself with the tools and objects that we were given. I find that using the gmap to make levels is quite unstable, and I came across many problems, but I prevailed. Hopefully tomorrow I can really get moving. I hope to be able to completely decorate, link and make operational Baritol, so we can get to work on Borea right away. I have included a screenshot of where Baritol is on the map. Inside Baritol (the capital): -Shop -Bakery -Barracks (and armory) -Joinery (with archery range) -Hotel -Pub -2 houses -Library -Restaurant -Welcome center -Blacksmith That's it for the capital. Wouldn't you think that it'd be better if we moved the windmill kind of up the hill and away from the city? Kind like outside of the walls? Because I think that the Capital City should be the most productive city and populated city... meaning farming should be outside of the walls.
And this is just a suggestion... What if we had three races in Dustari; Human, Elven, Dwarf. Each one with a special talent (But if we have race selection besides kingdom selection then we could do this with ease :) . |
That looks great, I dont really like how they are in rows though, it would be cool if put in a stone wall or a wooden stockade fence around it.

Outside All of Baritol on the outside is complete. Unfortunately, I had to remove several buildings, as I was over the limit, and now it's been downsized to approximately 10 and all have insides. I'm going to try and create most of the paths around at least half the map, as well as add trees onto that area so it seems decorated, but as for the rest of the map (the deep interior) I don't think I'll bother decorating it, because the island itself is over 1000 levels. We'll see how pressed I am for time. Because of this limit to buildings per town, I don't know if I can add inns at halfway points between towns, or barracks in stragetic locations, but we'll see in the end. Inside The insides for Baritol are as follows: -Bar -Hotel -Bakery -Blacksmith -Taylor (for cloth) -Windmill and lumbermill -2 houses -Restaurant -Joinery I know some buildings were missing, I hope I can add those someplace else. |

We can take out the Windmill and lumbermill... have those in another city and we import those in or something. And the Bakery Add Bar, Restaurant, and Hotel together to make an Inn... From that we can add in some other buildings... We need atleast one AB (Allied Base/Armored Base (AKA Barracks/Armory)) per city... for basic city defenses. We shouldn't put every industry in one city like this... instead spread it out... this will increase economics and add the rank of Merchant, and allow more buildings in the city. And we forgot one major thing that's needed for RPing... an Alter/Church/Shrine/Religious Building. |

Update:
Outside I got about 2/3 of all the paths done on the main island today. Most of the paths just run all over the island, and they'll eventually stop, and there will be an area with "cargo" (makes it look like the area was just explored) and a declaration from the royal family stating that this area is claimed and will soon be developed (a sign). I also added the "Northern Travellers Inn" (at Phoenix Bay) so people travelling can stop there if it's dark or something, seen as though the area it was placed is a crossroads. Inside Baritol is all done. Northern Travellers Inn is done Borea is still halfway complete in terms of insides, and I got a few people working on buildings for the third town. Tomorrow I will try and finish all the paths, then add Borea, so by Sunday the entire island can be complete up to what Stefan wants, then I'll see what there is to do. |

I got 90% of all the paths done, unfortunately I am behind schedule to what I wanted, but I had to work most of today. Tomrrow, for sure, Borea will be complete and I hope to add a barracks and armory at the Scimitar peninsula. Inside Still just baritol, the northern inn, and an assortment of insides for the other two towns. |
Outsides
All the pathing is done (yay!) and Baritol and Borea outsides. The Northern Inn and the barrack on the Scimitar are still there. As for the castle location, it will probably not be directly into that sput on the side of the mountain as originally planned, but further off to the left, a little down the mountain. Insides All of Baritol and Borea are complete, Nortern Inn, Scimitar barracks, and only a few of the Torub (the third city) insides are complete, tha'll eat most of my time up today. Ranks Yessssss. The burning question I've been avoiding for a while, it's now time to face it. I'll start talking to a select few people about ideas I have or things that might involve them so we can start forming a basic rank structure that will be complete within days. I decided not to rush the island to be completed for today for two reasons. One is that so I can have a bit better level quality and better planning, and secondly is because there really is no point to completing the isle tonight, because apparently it seems I am ahead of the game, and nothing will magically occour once my isle is done. The only bonus to completing Torub tonight is that I can start adding trees to all 1024 levels on the server. That's it for now. |

Kingdom island is complete, with three towns, one inn on the northern route, a barracks on the scimitar, and a total of 60 inside levels.
All I have to do is add trees to select levels later on, and do some dungeons which isn't yet clarified for me, then dustari island is set (and the castle stefan makes) |
