As for graphics and stuff like that... :(

lol

what about levels??

Timpan3 08-19-2002 08:10 PM

I think kaimetsu has some dark secrets about his level skills.. muhahahahahaaaaaaa or something ..

I remember when Kaimetsu and I actually turned Visual Basic into a Graal Conversation...I believe he said something like "Dimvar ownz Intvar", but he was lying cuz Dimvar pwns ur mum...To keep on subject, uhh err yeah.

jeff335 08-20-2002 10:21 PM

VB is sort of fun, but I need to get out my VB book again...or get a new one with all the features for VB6...and try to pick it up properly this time. Maybe I could even do something worthwhile.

p.s. option explicit is for people who want to be inefficient

jeff335 08-21-2002 03:36 AM

From what I recall, option explicit requires that all vars, etc, be dimensioned. I may be forgetting something, but why would anyone want to force the usage of dim? If something requires dim then you can use it, but otherwise why waste your time and thoughts by using dim? Moreover, if you do option explicit and forget a dim, you have to go back and find the undimmed variable, then compile again.

me too, I know HTML really well, yet I am a horrible artist, and can't design worth a rabbits ass

No! No no! I said that "int var" pwns "Dim var as Integer"!

I can't believe I didn't space int and var, imagine if I scripted it that way..I think it would have screwed that calculator up and it would randomly show pictures of your kitchen sink.

A high-level programming language means one that is quite far from binary...visual basic is actually quite easy.

Thript 08-23-2002 05:35 AM

The closer to binary the faster it is read by the computer. Being that it dosn't have to be turned into it as much, if you could write in binary o.O
