Skins?
 

How about an option to choose a skin for RC? maybe make the image format something similar to how state.png works? certain places are certain things etc etc, I don't like the current one much =/

It sounds good, but why make a Skin just to make your RC beautiful? The buttons aren't easier to reach. (I don't think that'd be possible. Increasing the length and width of the button, yes, but not placing a new ubtton on a different part.)

some people DO get tired of looking at a green thing =/ i would make mine something darker, like black and dark red

Okay this is out of hand. The RC is an administrative tool, it's not meant to be pretty, it's not meant to enjoy, it's to be used to do your damn job. Skins for the game maybe, but for the RC is pointless and will lead to more of these god be damned idiots wanting RC's.

I kinda like the Idea, I mean, it is a tool for you to use to do you job, but sometimes I get all dizzy from reading green font or staring at Green windows. You are supposed to enjoy your job, it helps you work better. :D

each server should have there own skin for the RC.

what's wrong with people wanting rc? if they dont have a job they obviously don't get one, I don't see why you are moaning and *****ing over such a simple thing, it couldn't effect your job in anyway, its not like im going to be too busy staring at a skin that it would distract me from what I would have rc for (which is usually for scripting)

i can see it now, everyone gets a new skin and not a bit off work is done because they so darn perdy

I recall hearing once upon a time that upgraded players would recieve limited RCs someday so they could host their own playerhouses. Or something.

Umm... That would be nuts, they would be on RC talking and bugging staff all day.

Well, it would be a seperate but similar program. Don't know if it would have chat, but as players have no reason to be banning and editing accounts and the like, those buttons wouldn't even exist...I guess

Which is why it hasn't happened yet. There needs to be a way to automatically filter out illegal stuff. Some things are obvious - on worlds with NPCServ, allow only clientside NPCs, as they can't do much damage. That only leaves copyright infringement, and things like one-way doors. For such errors, you still need human intervention, a levels team which approves Version 1 of a house, connects it, inspects things occasionally, and (this is the important part) blocks the offenders from having a house online for a period of time. That last part's crucial, if say Lydia uploads Cloud Strife's House of Admin Yaoi over her usual Humble House of Autobiography, I have to be able to not only take it down, but make sure nobody else forgets about it and puts her Humble House of Autobiography back online for her to repeat the process...

And I use the term "I" loosely, as this would be a duty for pretty much any LAT, particularly the review team...
