Agreed.

i would like it but one of the points to RC is to help people =/ so I don't think it'll be added

Minoc 08-17-2002 05:20 PM

no

Actually, for many people the point of RC is to upload/download and to script. For that, actually a cloaking button would work better...or the return of separate NC (but this time with FTP) for those who want it.

Well, I wouldn't mind 2 seperate programs. One for NC/FTP (Even if you don't have NC, you can still use this for FTP, just NC buttions are hidden). And one for the normal functions of a RC, excluiding FTP/NC.

Okay if yall dont like it, its problably cuse you work for a server thats full of no one or you dont have it after a while youll beg for this too. It should be added even stefan said so im suprized its not.

You can ignore players if you have to, just don't respond.

If you are given an RC, you are suppose to help, you cannot do that if you have people on ignore.

Not everyone with RC is required to respond.

I have RC. I'm supposed to edit the levels directly off RC. I cannot, as even when I go on as DND - THIS MEANS YOU - away, people say Hi, will you support me for FAQ?, idiotic things like that.

Runtime staff, yes, should respond to everyone. If our GPs are so bored that they're giving me demands for access to edit the staff tool, they need to be answering questions. FAQs more so, as that's the entirety of their job's responsibilities. Guys like me - well, LATs don't show up on the staff list on Classic for a reason. To the average player, we don't exist. There is no reason to pester Tyhm when he's on RC, if you have a bug, that's what email's for. If you're in jail, that's what Hoss' email's for. If you're lost, that's what the FAQs are for...

But you should be happy that players look up to you like they do ;-)
