That certain gods have VERY helpful things.. like Bile adding +100 sustenance is great, but I don't want to worship Bile, as it wouldn't go along with my "good guy" rp character. :(

It sucks that I can't worship a good god and get sustenance aiding. I would rather end up not worshiping anything because most all the other gods make you more vulnerable to stuff, and while you are invulnerable to certain things, I think it's a bad idea to have such an unbalanced character.

I mean sure, if you worship bile and wear a good amulet with fire resistance, you're set, but then you're still having to worship some evil god that doesn't fit your character. :|

Uh, each have their ups and downs. But that's the fun ;)

Sounds like that can be accomplished with a character who really likes fighting/participating in wars.

Bile's enemy is DianChent, a Paladin. Bile is EVIL.

I think Bile should have another downside, as Bile's 6-hunger-points-an-hour thing is INSANE.

Yeah I know, Bile is like best God hands down. It gives you like 4-5 invulnerabilities, and only makes you weak against fire, which a fire amulet can even out. You barely have to eat, and you're immune to disease? You're like immortal. :(

I don't want to worship Bile as my rp character is not evil, but I will be pretty much forced to worship him if I get all those advantages. :|

What's that old-school philosophy about dark magic... you receive enormous power and ability, if you're willing to pay the price? Well, it seems like Bile doesn't have much of a price, other than sacrificing RP. Considering most spells will kill you instantly anyway, whether they're fire or not, a little extra fire damage is just free cremation.

Hm, well, we can't CAST fire spells either. I think i'll check if thats in effect yet. We also have slower health regen. We can't turn away undead and stuff...Uh, guess thats it. Oh, we also have a harder problem reviving, protecting, and healing, but that doesn't seem very important for a PRIEST does it? Nope, not at all.
We also only get one altar effect, no holy relics. I really don't know what the avatars do yet, so...

Overall, Bile has a lot of advantages, but it is weighed down by a lot of small disadvantages that probably won't be noticable until Graal 2002 develops more.

I beleive Avatar is a summoning spell that creates, essentially, a golem of your God's power. In which Bile's stinks.;) Sure, it has the usual HP and Attack of an Avatar, but it has NO DEFENCE, which means it can be killed easily.....Unlike Brigid's Avatar which has 1000 HP and 50 attack and defence.....and Brigid's easy ressurections. The only major porblem is, well, the dependance on others for frikkin food.

Uh, 350 hp. Thats good.
AC = -12. That means anyone with a weapon class of 9 or above can't hit it. Conisidering my Weapon Class is like 15, that's a very good AC.

WC = -1. That (I think) means it can automatically hit anything with a AC of -2 or higher...

Armour = 0. Thats just physical resistance. Honestly, it's not very useful.

If it's armour is 50, I wonder if that would mean its completely open to cold attacks?

I agree with Koni. I wanted to worship bile from the start, but I don't wantto be seen as evil or anything. Either make Bile more vulnerable to things, or try and drop his sustenance.

I would of personally liked Priests to be able to have powers without worship. My char is a Necro, but doesn't mean he is evil =(

Bile is good right now but when more gameplay features are implemented I think that things will seem alot more evened out.

Other Gods have their own advantages.
If you don't like Bile don't worship him.
Don't complain to get his sustenance slowed down, that is his best advantage and probably his ONLY one. He has no holy relics and we already suffer a -1 HP Regeneration rate. Leave Bile be!

Bile's okay. See how many of you don't want to be him because he's evil. That's the awesome part and can be part of RPing. You want what he has, so in a sense, it's like you're being swayed by the Devil. I like to think of myself as a nice guy, but wow, the "You don't have to eat every 10 minutes to survive" is very appealing so I must find the Altar of Bile. Hahaha.

And I really want stealth to go along with being an assassin/ninja. But only a good god has it. Doesn't quite make sense. I mean when is the last time honourable warriors of light snuck up behind the enemy in the dark?

Oh well the great patron of assassins master of poisons is mine.

The bracers of ogma seem ultra powerful. I should think everyone will be rushing to get them. they seem liek a gladiators best friend. Faster healing, resistances, and +15 damage my oh my.

There's a amulet of sustance you can buy eventually, I saw it on debug server, and own it actually. It has a cross on it. It adds +100 sustence I think.
