Dragon Tri-Jer : Review
 

There's an onlinestartlocal(yay), not an overly good one though.

There is no introduction, no storyline is introduced, you just simply have to choose you class. It would be nice if you offered some descriptions of the different classes though. Also say how you select which class you wish to choose, and later have it give a confirmation that you have selected that class.

After leaving the onlinestartlocal level where I chose my class, I am warped to a large(AND EMPTY) room, with one small baddy. There is one door going up, and one door going down, I don't know which way to go.

Now I'm in a room where a guy yells at me to start mining.... It would be helpful if you offered some more information earlier, so I wasn't so confused(And a word of advice, have the guy say "What the heck..." not "What the Hell..."). I get a bomb NPC, and it suggests that I use it to blow up some rocks blocking my way. After I do that, suddenly I'm in a town?

You have to do a small quest for your sword and shield. However, the door at the end of the quest doesn't work x.x

Creativity - 6 - Not many ideas, the GUI thingy is nice though, with customisable settings. And finally, a server that includes the tailor-NPC in thier System NPC. (Doesn't it get annoying having to run around a server searching for the Tailor NPC?

Levels - 2.5 - Levels need a lot of work. I see very little actual tiling, and very few levles have content in them. MANY MANY MANY blank levels.

NPCs - 5.5 - Very few NPCs for me to judge, but the GUI script and the system script seem to be working fine.

Quests - 0.5 - No quests that I could find, unless you judge blowing up the rocks to get out of that first place a quest.

Storyline - 3 - At first, it appears as if there is no storyline, but then you enter that one level where the guy says "What the _heck_ do you think this is?! A Vacation?! Get back to mining!" which seems to imply that there's some sort of storyline behind it....

Overall - 17.5/50

I don't think this server was ready to submit.

Good review. I guess they only need some LAT's to make some quests and fix up the levels. Couple NAT's too. Good Luck to them finding some.

Oh man. I see you changed the name to Dragon Tri-whatever. The overworld is 2600 outside levels or something. I wish you guys LOTS of luck working with that overworld.

At the time I posted the review, I didn't know the name, and didn't know anyone online who would know the name of it.

I later learned the name from the owner, and edited my post.

I don't mind class select, but I do mind if you're constrained to that class for the rest of the time you play. ANd I don't like having to go to an admin to reset my account.
I wish the old account resetter was still on the Graal2001 site.

With the increased account hacking though that's gotten to create problems due to jerks :(
