When did You Start Level Building?
 

Ok on this thread you have to be honest

i started playing graal with bravo about 1 month before it got down then i went to unholynation there i met gori and menion leah and they tought me everything how to open levels (training and alt+4) i sent them my first town it suxed the path was like delta's but crapper=/they told me how to edit it good so it was really good (the path was black and white...)this was during un and then i moved from un to babylon when that opend and i thought these levels rock so i spent lke 2 hours on a level!.And so on using paths n stuff it was really good because i got a lat job on faheria:) then i got fired(Thanks Mmmmkay)lol...so i went and played mithica and like 1 week after i got fires from faheria i was working on mithica as lat admin!.Thanks to my friend jessycarp and ningnong (ningnong was nat admin and jessy was the sister of holycarp the owner)
so i got the job before because my quest was uploaded without my concern i never knew about it and all the staff loved it! so i think thats a bit what got me the lat admin job...so i made a staff town only for staff but i thought me and holycarp will make the town public and it was the best town on mithica every body was there! ....
So after that job i felt like quitting so i got bored and deleated all the levels lol....some friend helped me not mention the names lol....
and i got lat admin job on un when dark warlock became owner and dryline quit because he said your so good or somet so that as good kinda but i quit because of mystical dragon kept on dissconecting me from rc .,... then i started making my server and so on and then i got a lat admin job on bravo online i got fired because i said to VT he sux at levels..lol
and then i got a developer on dooms day now i just quit from doomsday so im making my server and might be working on bravo online again or renegade so lol

evildred144: I started Making Levels right before geovanie quit npulse. I just practiced with it and about 3 years ago I met shadow knight. He couldnt script crap back then XD but it was fun. We started the Server Eclipse and we kept working at it. And when the first version was done.. we trashed it o.o it was as big as graal classic was back then but we didnt think it was good enough.. ::silly me:: anyhow webuilt eclipse millions of times then merged with krynn and made a server. It ended I stopped making Levels and so on. Now Im a level maker with no job and have never worked on any server.

lets see, i started scripting about 4 years ago, and i didnt start actual level editing til about 4 months after that, so i would say

December 98

I started...about a year and 3 months ago i spose...I played Dino Valley at the time and i tried out for lat, and did not make it lol. When DV went down the drain I moved to Doomsday. After about 3 months, after mucho practice, (i still sucked) i got hired as LAT under Dameion. Along with the names of Tidus, Trinus, Jenzer, and Dame (DD guys'll know lol) we all actually learned how to make some good levels. Then Saithe got hired, who is one of the best LAT's on graal i think, although he doesnt post much. I then moved throguh the ranks, got asst admin then admin, and then recently i changed jobs and I still work as an LAT on the side. :) hope that wasent too long

When I acctually started making levels? I dunno, a couple years ago I guess, I didn't acctualy start improving until Xone came out.

Seems like your level making history thread more than when you started. :P

But I started level making a few months after I started playing Graal. I got bored and made levels because it was nearly as fun as playing online. So I started level making around January 2001. After my first few levels I made LAT on a server named Legends Ecstacy. From there I joined some project Yakuna was doing, made one city and left. Now I was free! I began making an island for myself, which was an amazing jump in my level ability. From that I applied to Faheria and Shadrock hired me. Since then I have contributed to many servers.

So many good lat's and such in short time u started january 2001?
I started like june 2001 i suppose josh got me inerested init aswellnice map loooks nice mmmkay and vt actually u was hired lat admin by thak2 and mystical dragon (Pissed on your bonfire)

hmmm, I think i started at the end of the Old Bravo days
I was really just playing around...not doing anything special (Or good for that madder) Then when Bravo closed down, most of the people went to Enigma i think it was, and a whole bunch of people wanted Bravo back, so they were going to rebuild it and send it in....I think Wilddude was planing everything, I was part of it (I was supposed to rebuild scrawby), but that went no where fast. Then i went to UN and got into building levels even more, after about like 4 tryouts i was hired for a few days, then i got fired...to this day i still dont know why >.<

Then i went to Doomsday, got LAT there stayed there for a few months, then i quit for abit, came back went to Mithica, quit for abit then went to X for like a month, Quit for abit again to play Diablo lol, Then came back to graal, and to Doomsday, got Developer Job, then went up and ranking and then became Head Developer....

lol...level that got me hired on DD, dame said he "liked the detail and the walls" man..what was he THINKING? (this is about 8 months ago, so graal standards were a bit lower.)

This is one of the levels i send to DD...i think i sent the same one to UN when i got hired, im not sure

My friend Shadow Angel taught me how to open lvl editor 2 1/2 years ago.From then i have been making lvls

Paradox: err i can't remember when i started making lvls o_o i guess it was around the same time as wan, we used to help each other out like switching lvls and fixing them up and stuff. Hmm so i can't really remember all the servers i worked for or the reasons i was fired/quit or whatever, all i remember is i went to faheria, then enigma, then UN, then i just quit UN like a week ago and i was hired as developer on DD, but i've been spending most my time working on Odium, i was fired from there but rehired lol.
Meh that's it.

The pioneers kinda ruined yer easy fun, huh? ;P

I started doing levels long ago x.X Umm, let me think... I moved to canada in 2000 December... so I started somewhere in November... My first level was intended for Classic... It was a lame ass level that I made in 5 hours... Then I sent it, and never recived answer... After that I started making my own Park of Attractions... It had no detail whats so ever, and those kill a million baddies quests that everyone loved... I knew nothing back then..

Then I got my hands on some show off level, I looked at it's style and made a whole island like that... Then I got hired for LAt on Cocoon, it never got up, but I quit after I did around 10 lvls, Then I worked on my lvls, I tried to become LAt on Sanstrata but never made it... Then in about month Gori wrote his very educational tiutorial... scince then I kept making Gori lvls... Then I got LAt job on sanstarta, started remaking it slowly, but some LAt Admin on there was not happy with my work so he 'edited' it... After that i quit... Now I am working on HL.

Level making is very limited for me now... tilesets are the way to go!

I don't know exactly, but a little before birdbird posted redguard city on the graal level forums.

Corupt: When Auroria/G3k/X was still around and before Delteria went up(it was so shltty back then well most servers were anyways) well Oladahn was the Lat Admin for Auroria and I made an Ice palace (somethign with me and snow levels) and I totally reversed all the walls lol (it looked like the walls were going down instead of up I didn't mean to do it but on soem parts of my new palace are like that) and they were small rooms and Oladah just laughed at me but he felt sorry for me and knew I tried (ALL I USED WAS PREDEFINED OBJECTS I DIDNT WANT TO MESS WITH THE TILESET (thats all I use now))but I was a Lat cadet and we started working on auroria2 then my house burned down then auroria was gone buncha other crap happened I was accepted at Delteria for lat position by someone who I don't remember but I wanted to work for Rudora got a job there was a luittle ******* to everyone for no reason got fired and was pushed by staff from rudora to build my own server (Beyond Legend) and I never really started truly detailing my levels until I started making my own server I dunno why but thats it
