Is this good for a level building newbie ? I'm kinda proud of it..
|
well, its quite good for someones whos juuuuuuust starting making levels...some pointers ill throw out for ya...dont use predefined objects...practice with the edge tiling, edge tiling looks very good if you get good at it. Let's see what else...make your path less straight, and your edge tiles less straight as well...for someones who's just starting you appear to have a pretty good grasp of the tileset, thats good...try to use the predefined objects menu as little as possible and study the tileset...looks like a good start to me! :D

Yeah after i posted that message i noticed how good the tileset is, cuz i saw people doing like 13598123905180234985 times better levels than me and i was like aww ill get flamed for doing such a bad outside, 10 people viewed and no on posted =( mean people. i viewed 3 times

Thats good, but learn to use the high grass tiles corners
Wooden stacks should be lined up like that. Don't use signs unless absolutely needed (cuz they look no good) There a half bush in the bunch of bushes , lol Also practice using not deep water tiles... that,s like basic. Thats a great level... The first level I made was like an indoor level that was 100 times too big for what it contained (one talking npc, thats all) I couldnt even find southern doors either. lol |
