First, I must say, this summer movie season is great so far..

Last week, I saw Shrek. I wasnt too thrilled about seeing it at first, but it actually turned out to be a great movie. It was very nicely animated and had a great plot. The movie is full of laughs and drama. The ending was good as well. My rating: 8/10. It's a good movie for the whole family.

Just a few minutes ago, I saw one of the greatest movies yet. Pearl Harbor. It starts out really calm and with a lot of love. Then, the Japanese attack and everything goes calamitous (sp?). The movie had a lot of explosions in it...me like...boom.. ;D Ben Affleck and the crew were such great actors. The movie was so great..words just cannot discribe it. It surpasses such movies as Saving Private Ryan and Titanic.. My rating: 11/10.

If i want a review i will go find one somewhere else not search through the baords for one :(

I agree with game why the hell would I want to read a review on the message board? There are real review sites if i wanted a review I would go there. However, Im not there im on the GRAAL message board.

...because professional critics are paid to tear the movie down bit by bit, squeeze all the juice out of it, and finally, when it's cringing against the wall, bloodstained and begging for mercy, the critics get their paycheck. Non-paid viewers, however, are expecting to enjoy the movie, since they've already paid for a ticket (While those critics are probably getting in for free).

So I'd pay more attention to someone who came to the theater half-expecting to enjoy the movie than I would to someone who got into the theater for free, expecting to turn the poor movie into a bloody pulp...

I went and saw the Mummy Returns over Pearl Harbor, im going to see that tommorow. Im almost positive it wont come close to as good as the special effects in The Mummy Returns. I've never seen such good special effects =)
