It happened to me too, before. Just out of the blue? I think a certain mushroom might do it at random, because that's the only food/potion I had on me at the time it happened.

That also looks like something a potion of heroism could do... well, more like 5-10 potions of heroism

I had 91 is speed yet it walked like normal then Ir econnected and it was back to 1.4...

You can't take two potions of the same temporary spell...
Using a potion of heroism, while you have it's effects from another potion of heroism, doesn't stack.

It happend to me as well...i was cutting down trees and a rabbit came over to me and hit so i killed it with my axe then i was going back to cutting a tree down when i moved like 10 feet away in a single press...i looked and my speed was 2.9 but everything else was the same
