maybe becuse that wasn't his point, that section was in reply to your saying he must have been banned becuase the staff just didn't like him. This is a family game, and if you read over the rules it says to hold back on cursing. I think one or two swears on the fourms is OK though --

Curse words are used to express strong emotion. Some people will use that. They also may quote somthing that has a curse word.

As for "Family game," the youngest person who plays is like 11 MAYBE. The media shows more cursing then that.

You do not need to swear to let out your emotions or frustration. You especially do not need to type it out when saying it is just as good. If you lack the intelligence and maturity where you can not hold a conversation or vent your frustrations, With out lowering your self to the use of profanity then you should be banned. You do not see the words F*** on tv nor B**** etc.. There are only certain words allowed. It is especially not needed 5 times in the same sentence. People find abuse the right for mild profanity. They use it as a way to attack and flame others. Often times losing Graal money. Because those paying customers decide they have better things to do. Than to listen to whiney(sp?) mouth little brats crying over nonsense and attacking each other at the least provocation. People are tired of idiots using every profane word known to man in a single post, just because they think they're Joe Cool. Often times just looking for some one to instigate into a confrontation for there own personal amusment. If you cant act with even an ounce of maturity and have to continually lower your self to profanity and insults than just leave. The game will be a funner and friendlier environment for it.

Cursing excessivly causes a temporary jail. NOT A BAN.

Watch some films at night and Im sure theyll have plenty in. Especially if its some kind of mob/gang film.

But apart from that I agree that cussing isnt needed on Graal. Things like "wtf?" are ok in my opinion because you arent actually cussing at anyone.

Don't get me started in on this, I had a riot start yesterday, and I was about to no-pm jail ALL of you people, until Rabid came on and saved a minor half of the server. Kamuii gots mad and told me to jail the rest <.< He is displeased with the players actions and has gotten their nicks/acc's :)
Rules to Remember

Character Names:
Generally, it is up to the player to decide the name for his or her character while playing GraalOnline . However, some character names will be considered abusive behaviour: for example, names indicating other specific player characters, the players themselves, GraalOnline staff, or any real-life personal information will not be accepted. It is also unacceptable to use profanity, racially or sexually explicit words or generally threatening wording as a player’s character name. “Kill_XXXX” is an example of an unacceptable name. Judgment of what is and is not disruptive is entirely at the discretion of GraalOnline.

IMPORTANT: Players risk immediate ban if they build, host or even promote sites and/or web content for facilitating cheating, threats of cheating and any type of hacking content.

Chat and Forum:
Another abuse of chat and forum privileges is when players use abusive language (cursing or threatening language), racial attacks or comments, or sexually explicit comments, either general or specific, when communicating to individual players, in the content of mass messages via the GraalOnline chat system, or via the discussion boards.

Policy Violations:
Anyone found to be in violation of the policies described in this document, at the sole discretion of GraalOnline , will be subject to the following:

- First violation: The user will receive a warning describing the breach of policy GraalOnline believes they have committed, either onscreen or via Email.

- Second violation: If possible, the player will be temporarily locked out of the area of gameplay related to the abuse. For example, if a player is using abusive language to others in the Forum, s/he will be prevented from using the forum. If a player is disruptive in events, s/he will be prevented from competing in events.

- Third violation: The user will be locked out of GraalOnline for a period of up to one month, and will be notified via Email.

- Fourth violation: The user will be locked out of GraalOnline permanently without refund.

In certain circumstances, such as extremely abusive behavior, a user may be locked out without warning or notice of any kind. However, GraalOnline will follow up with an Email explaining why this step was taken.

There are in some cases when an offense is severe enough, that it may result in skipping a punishment level.

It's common knowledge and common sense. -_- If you're massing profanity. How would one stop the massing of profanity?

Possible Solution: Send them to a place that they can not send PM people.

One would advise you to pipe down. Do not preach about how it is completely right that people are severaly punished because they swore once or twice, lest you want me to punish you right here and now for the swearing you have done on the forums.

Go ahead ban me if I am making threads with profanity in them. Considering that was well over a month possibly even two ago.:rolleyes: Once I sat down and realized how much these boards where rubbing off on me I decided enough was enough and have since then been striving to keep my posts profanity free. Something I myself suggest you as a Moderator do since you're setting an example as being a top person around here. -_-

If I where a Parent and I saw that it was ok for a high up to make threads with F*** being in the title. I would not let my kid play that game.

So yes Ban me if you find me swearing. Or follow the rules with a warning first unless it is something severe. -_-

But I will not pipe down and if you ban me for swearing that is easily over a month old. Then ban your self as well or you are a hypocrite for doing so. Also not to mention Unixmad has made a 0 tolerance rule for profanity at my request when you ignored my request in another thread and closed it. -_-

I've said this before-
Excessive cussing..that deserves 5-10 minutes in jail
When they get out, if they continue to cuss alot-a jail for a few hours doesn't sound so bad.
Cussing should never=a ban.
I don't care how much they do it.

mild swearing. A warning
Continued Swearing. Jail for a specified time.
Still continuing Swearing. Jail longer
Excessive swearing. Profanity multiple times over and over. Long Jail time. If they continue with the excessive swearing temporary ban. If after all this they have yet to learn there lesson and continue. Permanent ban.

Now if it is something that happens on a rare occasion. Warnings and such should drop off. Since people are bound to slip once in a while and if they say a cussword that is a year apart. It would be rather said for some one to get jailed for a long time etc..

As for Ownage dont be childish. There is in no way ownage in regards to anything. -_-

Any ways back on topic. Yes Thats based on assuming its all repeated offenses. Now some things I feel there should be a 0 tolerance for such as racism. That should go straight to no-pm jail for a specified time period. Second offense on that it should be a ban.
