Old stupid bug: if ya pick up a 5-pack of bombs, and you don't have 99 bombs but the 5-pack will put you over 99, you'll get none. (For those of you who can't do math, it means if you have 95-98 bombs, it doesn't do anything). Or is this perhaps a "feature" saying that it's a 5-pack that you can't split up or something...

What?
|
Like the bombs that players drop when they die... if ya pick one up and you have 96 bombs, you STILL have 96 bombs afterwards.

msg for Hawk
Hawk, make sure you report this. then close the thread so we know it's resolved.
|
Yeah, I did notice that.
|
Blah.
I know the Graal script code for that:
NPC Code: |
actually that is not what hes saying grim. he's saying that you cant get any of the 5 bombs in the pack if you have over 94.
Example: you have 96 bombs. You slash a bush and it lays out a 5-bomb pack. You touch the pack. Nothing happens because it's a five bomb pack and game won't let you have it. you cant fix it with graal script. |
Exactly... besides you CAN'T have playerbombs > 99... NOTHING lets you have more than 99 bombs except for something like game trainer and locking a memory position... at least I _think_ that would be the only way.

what you need to do is add something if the players bombs is over 95 but less than 99, and they pick up a bomb pack, setbombs 99.

The bombs are hardcoded into the Graal program. |
Yes I know, using NPCs wasnt the idea anyway.
|
yeah it could be easily fixed but since i think the flags for picking up items and such will be added soon (i hope) it'll just be like if (playerpicksupbombpack && playerbombs>94) {playerbombs=99;} or whatever

ok
Thanks, I have reported this to stefan, now this thread will be closed.
