Board admins, please read

The time-zone problem has still not been corrected. I am in the Centrat Standard Time zone in the US. The clock is exactly 12 hours off. It says it is AM when it should be PM. This greatly confuses my email, and when I'm trying to post, it throws me off on when posts were made. Could somebody please fix this? There have been a few others who have shared this concern, and it may seem to be a trivial matter, but it is something that still needs to be fixed. I have posted before about this, but with no response. It would be greatly appreciated if something was done about this. The poll above is if you agree/disagree that this matter needs to be attended to.

I have the same problem...

Are you talking about your computer's RTC (Real Time Clock)?

aran_lesai 05-31-2001 08:41 PM

No, I'm talking about the built-in clock in this forum. My system clock (as well as the rest of the clocks in my house) says it is 7:30 AM, but the forum's clock says 7:30 PM. When it emails my messages to me, it puts them all in the wrong order because of the time difference. I have posted before in response to someone and it angered them because they had already updated and replied to it, and I did not know that, because I didn't get the 2nd message until after I posted.
I tried to contact Unixmad concerning this, but I recieved no response, and I tried emailing [email protected], but got an error saying that this email address no longer exists. So I posted it here (twice, this is the 2nd time). Could I please at least get a response from someone who could possibly fix this problem? I would greatly appreciate any administrative help at this point.

Just set your time zone 12 hours further (Or 12 hours back) then as it is normally, then you'll have your normal time.

oh yeah ... and is that you Grim?

activeconvict 05-31-2001 09:48 PM

Hmm, that's very odd.

If you read the bottom Greezi, it clearly states it is not Grim, but who knows, could be a trick. =P
