I need help scripting a pet

I havnt scripted in ages and im kinda havin trouble about even knowing where to start on a pet script so i can make a template, and put imgs in it to make a pet
like ummmm you knowwalking and idles n all that, i can make a template fine but i dunno how to script it......
can anyone please help me?
