I cant accually play g2k2 because the NPC server is down but reading through these froms i think i got basic knowledge of how magic is cast.

I think you should have like a magic attachment button. Where when you goto a magic point which are put around islands you can change which magic is attatched to the button and only at those points. Also as you get stronger you gain for attachment buttons for use.
Well thats my idea.

PS for the rest of the spells the players can chant them to cast.
