I would greatly appreciate it if someone knows, and could tell me, where I could find some drivers for an SiS530 video card that support DirectX 8. Thank you

You can't downgrade.

I didnt think so....I wish i had never got DirectX 8, I cant play any of my games now :(

I have DirectX 8 and I want to see the lighting effects on Graal :(

You CAN downgrade from DirectX 8 to DirectX7, I've never done it but I know that it is possible. There are utilities out there that basicaly 'remove' directx 8 and then you just install directx 7.

They officially support DirectX 7, but it WILL still work with DirectX 8 (or at least... it should, no reason why it shouldn't)

Those are the drivers I have, but they dont work for DirectX 8...I have idea why either, it really ticks me off.

I had that problem for a while but I found a downgrade from 8 to 7. Worked fine for me.

I just found something at Tweakfiles.com....hopefully it will work

WOOHOO!!! Thanks to tweakfiles, I successfully uninstalled DX8!!!!!!!

Yay HIC! I'm thinking of downgrading....

If you do, use the one at www.tweakfiles.com, it was really easy to use and I didnt have any problems
