High grass tiles/ New tiles update (Gaiden)
 

Well i started making some high grass tiles. Like some grass that over-grew. Well, i made them they look kinda weird and i was wondering if people could help me tell me what i can do to fix. Also tell me if i should make the top of the high grass darker or lighter then the regular grass. Also rate anything else other then level quality you want(Test Level)

Graal has tall grass... supposdly it's called "Swamp", but acyually iy's tall grass, you can use those spots to put your grass in!

Guess im the only one who's going to give you advice on how to fix it. Ok, the bottom part of the tall grass where its dark add lines to make it look like grass it going up, just use a darker green to do it right now it just looks like a green spot then .. grass on top.

Well, i have done what you said in that pic, but for some reason..... GIffy is limited to palletes i guess cause it turns my tiles into crap... well i got a new GIF edirot ill put a new pic up after i save it.

It looks good but the tall swamp grass doesnt look like tall grass. It just looks like some one spilled bleach on the normal grass. There isnt any dimension to it. It looks to flat. The colors and such are good just need more dimension to it. :)

See thats what i need help with.... I can't seem to get the deminsions right. In my first post i said they looked wierd. Anyone know a good way of going about this?

You need to make it so, gah or right now you grass looks like its going up the root of it ne ways then when its up it looks like you gave it a trim or something and its completly flat at the top, now that wouldn't be too bad but im guessing you're going for more of a foresty look in which case you should make the grass on top ... I don't know how to explain it, you need to make it none flat on top.. :-p

Grass isn't perfectly straight ---- everywhere. I'll find an example and post it

What he is trying to say I think, add fark lines on top of your tall grass, that way it'll seem as if grass is not perfect and it sticks out somewhere.. or something.

Aren't those just your ice tiles recolored?

well... im gonna work on those later. I started some mine tiles.
